Ascensions dans Gothics

A very unique climb. Part of the group that had to bivy for the night with no gear. I am eager to return.

Really interesting features and challenging pro; unfortunately I only got to lead one and a half pitches (one very long, at 210', and quite run out in spots, but beautiful) before night fell, as the guide's estimate for approach time was about 1/2 what it actually took. Retreated off the fourth pitch - after a long sliding unprotected lead fall - and spent an unexpected night in the trees before bushwhacking the last 200' to the trail. Want to come back! What beautiful rock.

We got sandbagged by the approach time ("3.5 hours, difficult") and ended up running out of light about 4 pitches up, and had to (unexpectedly and completely without appropriate preperation) bivouac for the night. I want to come back sometime (not this year) and finish the climb, as it is lovely climbing.
