Really challenging for a 5.7

Pretty stiff for a 5.8. The crux pulling the undercling roof is classic but hard for the grade.

Did the climb again following the finger crack to the left of the dihedral instead of staying in the hand/fist crack. Finished in the same overhung offwidth.

Stayed on the column to the left of Heat Miser finishing on the spicy offwidth which now has it's own chains. The offwidth section is amacing, but very tough. The overhead offwidth has lodged stones as holds.

Got it clean

Got the crux mantle move fairly clean today by getting a high right foot to reach the undercling above the mantle.

Shares anchors with generic crack.

Great route

First time leading this one. Difficult section toward the top. Stay left.

This is my second roped solo on this route. What a great route this is. This route at 5.8 is a total sandbag. Way more interesting and difficult than lucky Pierre which is listed as a three star 5.9 in the guide books.

The second time I have climbed this. Spectacular crux on thin hands and steep slabby feet to reach the chains. Beautiful climb.

Good climb. Climbed mostly on the interesting crack system on the left to the bolts. Definite Crux is liebacky moves midway up.

Clean ascent. Really enjoyed the crux.

I tried to stay on top of the bolt line today. I climbed mostly on the arête between this climb and loaded gun to the right. I ended up with the same finish for loaded gun instead of the usual mantel finish just left of the loaded gun off-width. Both ways of finishing are similar in difficulty.

The crux was hard for me today, but everything is there once you get your head around it.
