Two tough cruxes, great gear but would back up carrots

Bouldery start without gear, quick pull through roof then easy arete. All in all, your not missing out on much if you don't climbing anything on this pinnacle!

Surprisingly more climbing than it looked - fun steepness then a few slab moves. The 2 easy routes are prob the most worthwhile on the pillar.

Perfectly nice climbing, gear might be a bit difficult for beginners.

Lots of pulling on terrifying bits of rock. Gear would also be terrifying.

Not quite as desperate as it's neighbour, this is still pretty nails - may be less so with longer arms, but i'd give 24 to the ridiculous moves I did. Quite cool moves though. The bolt is crap.

Sarah's first new route, and she did a fabulous job for someone who barely ever goes climbing these days. This winter decorated the start with some moss, but it rapidly becomes a really quite nice, clean wall.

There's a rock scar on this that may suggest a lost hold, or it may always have been desperately reachy. Either which way, i could barely do the move above the square recess thingy. After that it's quite nice 18-20 slab climbing. Gear is fairly terrible most of the way.

The start is so not 8! I'd be happy giving it 16 but given taller people may reach the first good hold from the ground, I'll compromise with 14. It's actually nice climbing on good rock that's very clean for an obscure, undergraded easy route.

Really fantastic route on bomber gear. Not sure why there are old carrots there as they seem really redundant - there is bomber gear next to all of them but oh well.

Followed Mikey up it as his first proper trad lead. Technically easier than 22 and well protected.

Got it 2nd shot. First shot took a while ...

3 or so goes at figuring out the grey section half way up but there's neat climbing here.

5+ goes hanging off the rope) to figure out the top crux which is particularly reachy the way I did it (I'm 6'1"), but figured out by shorter climbing partners.

Still, really happy with a 2nd shot send. Would have been frightening on lead without the retro-top-bolt.

Pretty awesome 22. Where is the jug? Pumpy at the start and then ease off. Luckily, there is a decent knee bar!

hard. i don't see no jug to jump to! remember to bring enough bolt plates!

Top crux is very reachy. Climbing is good, but not awesome.

The bottom bit is quite good. Second shot.

Could do with an extra carrot on the middle section. A fall from above onto the gear behind the thin flake could be nasty. Def ground fall while getting to the placement.

Watched ollie fall after the traverse and zipper out all the gear bar the top piece. exciting.

Jumping to the jug looked crazy for us short people. Climbing up instea . Pumpy insecure start. Read the crux wrong and stupidly fell off, pulled back on and climbed to the top. Great rock quality.

Awesome! Hung around a lot placing gear. Placed a good nut as high as I could reach to make the start reasonable...

Jumped on to the jug from the ledge. Very interesting moves and a solid climb the whole way!
