Apparently a hold has ripped off in the middle. I think it is about V7 now. Sent in about 15 minutes, second shot from the ground. Great moves and solid rock compared to the rest of the area.

V5 Shark's Arete Boulder 3m Average
Matt Schimke
Moved left once my hands were on top of the boulder, couldn't find any holds straight above.

V4 V5 Hake Boulder 2m
Matt Schimke
Not a dyno if you are over 6 foot.

V6 Elephunk Boulder 4m Good
Matt Schimke
Great feature but sharp and crumbly rock. Second shot. Grunty and awkward at times.

Definitely the good edge has broken off. Still felt do able but definitely harder it’s a crimp now not sure how you’d dyno off it.

V6 Elephunk Boulder 4m Classic
Jesse P
Once I found the good edge I stuck it. Not really something I would try but it was well worth it. Epic boulder.

V1 Slap it Boulder 3m
jw
Got a bit scared near the top due to moss growing on the best hold, and went out to the right into the crack to top out.

V2 Softly Softly Boulder 3m
jw
Probably topped out too far left/not direct enough

V1 Gently Gently Boulder 3m
jw
Probably topped out too far right/not direct enough

V6 Elephunk Boulder 4m

Did it properly this time... using the high heel hook beta, probably very easy for a v6.

Sun 30th May 2021 - Pierce's Creek
Laurel Camp Rd Sushi Row Roe
V6 Elephunk Boulder 4m
jw
Basically got this except I started on the undercling on the roof instead of the hold at the back, thought that was only for the extension variation, which I had actually been attempting on other days... That move is usually very easy for me though, have to go back and get the extension/this properly.

V3 Sturgeon Boulder 2m
jw
While me and a friend were working Sturgeon, during the start move a huge piece of rock that provided the under cling/two starting side clings and potentially one foot that aided in topping out broke off. However all the climbs are still possible but topping out is slightly harder, I would say none of the grades have changed.

Great line with some really nice moves. Make sure you have a spotter down low and a few mats. Might be 6? Definitely not 8!!

Excellent! Great finger locks which turn into jugs as you get higher. I want more of these kind of problems. Even the jump from boulder to boulder to get down is fun!

Very good for the grade.

V5 Monkfish Direct Boulder 4m Average

Good moves but terrible rock. Might have gotten it but as I was going for the last jug, a foot crumbled and I came down sideways.

Sun 24th Jul 2016 - Pierce's Creek
Laurel Camp Rd Sushi Row Roe
V6 Giuseppina (Salmon Run Project) Boulder 4m
Pete
Hard to avoid the tree - I'm not sure if it'll end up being worthwhile or not yet

V5 Shark's Arete Boulder 3m Average
Pete
Fun, and quite sustained - need to figure if its possible to escape right lower down as that might be the easiest/most natural variant, but staying on the face brings some great moves

V5 Hake Boulder 2m Very Good
Pete
Again using the arete. The top out is fun, although escapable to the left - good if you stay right of the arete

V4 Flying Fish Boulder 2m Good
Pete
Fun, but prob only v2-3 the way I did it - I'm guessing you could force yourself to go further left while still low, but I just did what felt right at the time...

VB Sail Fish Boulder 3m Good
Pete
Good easy warm up or intro line

V2 Flat Head Boulder 3m Good
Pete
Thin, sharp wall - trickier than it looks

V0 Blue Groper Boulder 2m Average
Pete
Very lowball

V4 Mollusk Boulder 5m Classic
Pete
I keep finding the start moves hard for v4, but its a cracking good line so I don't mind...

V4 Fish of the Day Boulder 3m Very Good

Still interesting, still not sold on it being a 4

Sat 9th Jul 2016 - Pierce's Creek

V0 Herring Boulder 3m Average
Pete
A good warm up for the area

V5 Salmon Boulder 5m Classic
Pete
The key flake/edge felt quite flexy today

V5 Monkfish Direct Boulder 4m Good
Pete
The rock is quite sharp and suspect in places (esp under the block and on the right), but I'm hoping it will clean up ok, and it has some funky shapes and moves. It will definitely go, but I got a bit spooked on the top out today...

V2 V3 Monkfish Jr Boulder 4m Good
Pete
A bit sharp, bit otherwise a nice route.

V0 Goldfish Boulder 3m Good
Pete
A good easy slab for the area, although not a complete doddle at the top

V4 V5 Hake Boulder 2m Very Good
Pete
I started on the good hold, then went to the arete first then up - maybe v4 that way?

V2 Humpback Whale Boulder 4m Good
Pete
Much better and airier than it looks - has some of the nicest holds in the area.

Thu 7th Jul 2016 - Pierce's Creek
Laurel Camp Rd Sushi Row Roe
V3 Pickled Herring (A Piece of Flake) Boulder 4m Good

I think abut v3? - first move to a vague right side pull is the key, then pretty positive after that.

V3 V4 Flying Fish Boulder 2m Very Good
Geoff Campbell
Great, but I doubt it's a V4.

V4 V5 Hake Boulder 2m Very Good
Christopher Lean
I started from the hold and the arete so I am losing a grade maybe V3. The original is great I just couldn't hold the swing from the dyno.
