A fun day out, revisited: Tired but psyched the adventurers descended into the blooming wattle filled gulley, fearing the searing sun would bake them to a crisp and leave them crawling back without completing the quest. They bravely attempted to figure out how on earth this funky line with two distinct styles would be topped. Their efforts were met with fierce opposition from an unflinching foe. The adventurers grew weary and rested beneath the shade of a tree with chocolate and tea whilst discussing the complexities of human connection. After sharing new beta, the key was found to unlock this magical line. A sneaky lie down rest here, a few little heel hooks there and a whole lot of hydraulic biceps and finally the quest was complete. With many a shout, yeeeeew, the adventurers returned home with warm butts and full hearts. The end.

Equipped as a warmup, and sent fairly soundly first redpoint effort today. I'd also had a bunch of shots a few months ago. I just really enjoyed this route. The face is quality climbing on good rock, and really engaging without being too hard. Then everything from the roof up is just funky insanity.

3 attempts today. Onsighted to the 2nd last bolt. Next lap I fell off on the final moves to the anchor after heel-hooking my own-rope, and the 3rd lap I was just tired and fell in the same spot. A LOT of climbing on this (and rather hard work as a complete package) but bloody great climbing on good rock. Could do with permadraws on the final traverse.

Should of read my last attempt of this route. Never again.. 3 star climbing that I cruised every time until the lip traverse, then 0 stars. Stupid bolt positions that wreck your rope and draws. Needs a rebolt with a juggle of the bolt positions and an anchor under the roof for cleaning. This crag needs a rebolt.

15/9: fell with my fingertips on the final jug damn it, and took the biggest whipper skipping all the traverse clips :)2/9: undercling move sorted need more campus strength for those roof moves 5 shots 16/8: 97% done thought I would have a play. Got all the moves except for the underling slab move. Just have to sort out feet but didn't have the energy left to try. How much fun is campusing the lip! Feels doable
