Ascensions dans Cottage Boulder

Dogged it all the way. Literal bolt to bolt. You darn tootin I sat at every single one at least once. Potentially longest belay of the day soz davedave

1st clean through to where the 23 and 24 diverge, second quickly devolved into draw retrieval. Not too bad bolt to bolt but sustained pumpy steepness.

Good warm up for a day of tradding.

Chudley done hunged the fast clips then i toproped, then sent wit nonna dem kneeblocks like Chudley but he be fattened and olden. Good for climbers 'neath 5ft as none things are long.

2nd shot. Almost classic status! Substantially harder than the other routes on this wall -the headwall is proper stacked to the anchor. A great addition on perfect rock. Steeeeeep!

Some great moves in super overhung rock, great monkeying, shame it's so short. First dogged leanings then this next shot

Every move went first time, but it would take a bit to link. Only has time for one so i back jumped it and did flaming youth

Clean repeat. Felt easy and oodles of fun today. One of the best, for sure!

First go, but I've climbed both Leanings and Disinclined previously, so can't claim the flash

Essentially, the poor man's version of Leanings, but it's a good way of breaking up the larger route into more manageable sections.

I reversed this (still on link) and finished up Leanings for added pump.

Cool! had to try pretty hard for a few moves, and thought I was off at the top for sure. Essentially: 3 boulder problems of increasing difficulty, separated by good stances. The middle boulder proved particularly tough and committing with a curious complete lack of chalk on it.

Really genuinely great. A very pumpy warm up and a contender for the best steep 24 in the mountains! Classic!!
