Best way to climb pillar!

Not as good as pole dancer, and because we linked it from the ground, rope drag was a serious issue, clipping the draws on the upper section was like doing max weight bicep curls and became the crux of the route! Still a lot of fun and nice and exposed climbing above the seal colony 100m below!!

Led this as one giant pitch from the ground to the top which resulted in hilariously horrific rope drag on the final section. Not as good as Pole Dancer but still a great route and topping out the other pillar is super rad too. If you are you mega-pitch-mega-rope-drag enthusiast definitely climb it from the ground for the full experience.

We got a bit confused here, consulting both thesarvo and out-of-focus photos of Climb Tasmania, and did the probable FA of the Disaster Master-North Pole-Pole Axed link-up

What a line! Great climbing the whole way, and so cool to climb on multiple aspects of the pillar! The position on that final arete is sick. Nicely lead Ryan.

Awesome stuff, loved it. The 21 at the top is quite short but the moves are really nice. About a metre of pure exposure on the arete which is classic!!

Some bad bolting. Grade 19 to a silly move at the top where the bolt out of reach. We traversed into line on right for final 3m. We did the move on TR maybe about V4. Did we miss something?

Thought this was pole-axed. Not too bad, but definitely not one of the classics. Awkward movement at times.

Super good! Not as sustained as PD but as good. Cryptic cruxes with rests in between.

Led in one pitch to top as pole dancer was taken. Really great route. Tricky down low then jugs from half way. Bring some tuna for the seals.

Incredible route, better rock and climbing than Pole Dancer, but not as sustained. We both lead the first pitch of Certified Wise, lowered off 3m of slings with a 60m rope, then top roped up a chimney to the 2nd pitch of Pole Dancer, climbed that and retrieved the slings.

Gives antimatter a run for the best 23 in Tassie! Ran out of time to do anything else... it’s not fun walking back in the dark.

Possibly favourite climb I've ever done

So good! One of the nicest arete’s around!

I felt wholly in the zone on this route. Quietly in tune with myself, the movement, the environment around us. A sharp focus, but 360 degrees of awareness. Perfect harmony, the entire way until the anchors. I'm grateful for such an experience as the last climb of what had been an incredible trip.

Easily the best pitch on the entire cape! Relentless, super technical and super exposed!

Awesome route, with outrageous positions. The wind was quite off putting. Probably two grades harder than Pole Dancer, so either this is under graded or PD is over graded.

Wow! 50m above seal colony at the end of the earth. And the climb was every bit as good as the location! Very clean rock. Not enough time for both of us to lead.

What can I say... Outrageous position, superb line, fantastic climbing! 14hours return trip to climb the line, sooo worth it, a must do!

Rest at final bolt before anchors. Amazing place to be.
