Did the variant start which takes the obvious crack, definitely full value that way and keeps the line true. Better to belay from the end of pitch 2 if doing this. Feet got super tired on P1 trying to look around the layback to place pro, luckily I found a couple of techy rests. Lovely last (3+4) pitch, delicate.

Taner cruised up the first pitch, including the crack variant, and I had to faff around to get his cam out. He belayed at the beginning of the traverse, and then I linked up the traverse and the last pitch as one, ending with some heinous rope drag as I ran out of extenders at the top. Slab felt way easier than when I did it a few hours before on Maharaja. Amazing climb.

Very cool climbing the whole way! Still not used to the subtle granite feed so was a little stressful navigating the roof! Don't need the bolt anymore with big gear. Traverse was cool as well, following the weakness. The final pitch to the summit was also classsssyyyyy as!

Another classic to get my Dad scared on. We did this the morning before he left and it was a fitting end to his brief trip with plenty of wide crack grunting and a whole bunch of exposure. First pitch is very sustained but with no moves that are particularly. My feet got quite sore from the endless smearing on nothingness. Pitch two is one of the most spectacular 14s ever. Super airy but easy and delightful. The final pitch is also classic, especially after the awkward start, with juggy flake climbing and the exciting finishing slab to top out. Brilliant!

First climb at Mt Buffalo and it was awesome! Super cool first pitch with little rooflets, amazing traverse on 2nd pitch, interesting 3rd with a scary solo slab section at the end! We brought 3 x #4 and I'm glad I did

Hard. Took several rests on the first pitch. Brought a BD C4 #4 and a WC HF #4 and wished I had more big gear! Doubles in BD C4 #2-4 would have been nice, and a #5 could also be useful. Pitch 2 was just awkward, but pitch 3 was fantastic - some of the best climbing I've done at Buffalo.

With Goshen. Much better than it looks from the ground. Linked P1 & P2 (via the variant crack) and P3 & P4. Clean 2nd P1 & P2 - The 1st pitch is hard due to smaring footers and general awkwardness, P2 is easy but committing hand traverse on smeared footers... awesome! P3 has more committing laybacking, smeared feet and undercling traversing up stand-out flake features. P4 is an easy friction slab... but also has no gear whatsoever.

Fell on the last overlap, got a bit tired clipping the bolt, which is not really needed. Awesome climb though. There is 2 stuck nut at second belay.

Fantastic route! One of my long-term dream climbs DONE!! A no.6 C4 camalot would have been very handy on 1st and 3rd pitches. Also the rap off the top is easily done with a doubled 60m single rope. No need for doubles. First pitch needs a brush as the slab is rather mossy, making smearing trickier than it probably should be. Approach 3rd pitch with respect. Harder than it looks & a no.6 C4 camalot wouldn't go astray for the widest section.
