Fantastic entry level adventure trad. First pitch lead by Pat then the rest by me. First time using double ropes for two seconders. Gear isn't as bad as reputed, there are some relatively large runouts but only on grade ~4ish terrain. Crux move is on pitch 2 but is unexposed and short. Chimney pitch has easier technical climbing (Grade 6-9 moves) but fairly sustained and exposed. Left the chimney too early and got run out & off-route on absolute garbage rock and then went back in the chimney and stayed there too long and topped out the pitch on the right. I brought a 4 & a 5 and placed both but could probably do without. 3 60cm slings is not enough to stop heinous rope drag if you sew things up. Scariest part of the day was when someone seconding pitch one of zeitgeist found a microwave sized block to yank off

We definitely ended up at the wrong second belay and made it much harder for ourselves. Ended up getting a very old black country fried stuck in the crack of that wrong second belay but overall very very good climbing.

Linked pitches 1, 2 and maybe part of 3 into a ~50m pitch. Ended up popping up onto the big ledge at the end of P1 of zeitgeist where a large party was waiting to continue up their route. Harry came up and gave the next pitch a go but after pulling off a large rock and the rest of the pitch not looking much better, he decided to down climb back to the belay. We figured that was enough fun for one day and bailed down zeitgeist. Not really sure what we climbed but figured this was close enough.

Lovely climbing a nice long route. Using underclings to navigate around the small roof feature at start of 2nd pitch was particularly enjoyable.

onsight lead solo. my toes hurt from all the slabbing. line of credit was much more enjoyable than this; P1 was alright but p2 and p3 were mehhh 0 stars. Climbed every pitch twice. Climbed last pitch in approach shoes. Downclimbed caves route because i couldnt be asked to do more rope management

Big Steve on his first trad multi! Yew yew! Linked pitches 1&2 and 4&5. Pitch 3 climbs a lot like the exposed sections on caves route only shorter and with a sniff of pro.

Pitches 1,2,3 & 5 were good. Pitch 4 a nightmare of broken, shitty rock + vegetation. According to the grade, I've not climbed the correct route. Definitely nothing harder than 4-5ish. Hmmmm. 🤔

Climb 13 of 50. Reminds me of the type of climbing I was doing 25 years ago. Glad I got to do it finally. We climbed it in 3 pitches, so not actually sure where one pitch ended and another began, so a bit tricky to log all the pitches correctly. Not terribly important though. Fun times!
