Well.... tried to warm up on this and got pretty scared. I guess i haven't lead for a very long time. This is a sport climb in the old guide and it is really run out on the second top.

Surprisingly fun! The bulging rock makes the handholds invisible from below, so there's a lot of groping around for good hands, which can make it a little intimidating, especially combined with the steepness of the route. They're definitely there though. Maybe take a cam around BD #0.75 size if you'd like to thoroughly protect the (fairly easy) slab finish.

Not a bad start with a slabby end. had to do it twice to retrieve my rope because I didn't untie the figure 8 out. Lesson learnt?

Thought that was 'Mookie" (12), but turned out to be the wrong crack. Had to go through a lot of bush on the slab, and a lot of saplings on every ledge all the way to the top. However, turned out to be too much fun not to describe the route here.

We couldn't find our way to the start of 'White Woman' and ended up in front of this nice chimney. After cleaning the route from a lot of scree, it was quite some fun to climb. Of course, at the top, the start of White Woman, it was totally obvious how to get up there on the other side…

Tried to stay in the left crack all the way up to the top, which didn't work out at all. Right hand side crack offers a great undercling followed by a pull-up with no feet on a piece of rock stuck in the crack. Not sure about the 12 here, but good feeling once done.

Bit off more than we could chew. Made it up to about 10 m from the start. First crack was horrible, couldn't find decent holds to place gear and was shaken afterwards. Well, maybe another time. Walked up to the top to abseil down to retrieve gear.

Fantastic climb! Couple of nice comfortable jams, bulletproof rock and great line. Highly recommended. Probably harder if you are under 175cm.

Horrific approach (steep with loose rock), but an excellent climb, marred only by some rocks which felt a touch insecure. Committing start past 3 big (and probably secure) chockstones before protection is possible in the crack behind. More committing moves to get past the roof. Overall reasonably well protected with cams and small nuts.

I would never do this climb again. It looks great from afar, but inside the crack is filled with semi-detached and hollow rocks. I spent most of my time on this route just looking for reliable protection. It couldn't even be safely run out, because half the time my left foot was sitting on blocks that looked like they were about to fall off. It's not even good jamming practice--really it's all about the layback. Minus one star!
