Ascensões em Toxic Lichen Wall

Climb past the first anchor to alternate hidden anchor 3m left, avoids hanging belay. Third pitch can be done comfortably with 10-12 draws. Easier to lower partner from top with 70m rope.

Great route with ample protection and good movement, marred by uncomfortable third anchor.

Warm up. I climbed to the second last hold, then punted. Afterwards I worked out that I needed to flag my left foot while heel hooking the rail to make the match much easier. I also worked out the correct feet for the final move to the clipping jug.

Red point. As always, went smoothly once all the beta is known About 23 moves. A no-hands rest is possible if, like me, you prefer to make things as easy as possible.

First go of the day. Wasn't warmed up enough and fired off left sidepull after 4th clip.

Fired off very low.

Found a nice rest. Climbed to second last hold but couldn't work out feet. High point.

Climbed easily to second last hold. Still couldn't work out feet. Cut feet and then came off. One hang and then clipped anchor.

Had a proper attempt. Clipped all the bolts but called take directly after clipping the last bolt as I was slipping off the jug Just two moves below the anchor One hang.

Crimpy and tough at the bottom leads to a nice series of jugs before a last crimpy section guarding the final bolt before the anchor. Great climb

Fun multi, even more fun rap down!

After first bolt, go right, heel hook, need to grab onto mossy ledge and then other mossy ledge. clip 2nd bolt by reaching over the arete. Lean on arete after 2nd bolt, get right hand on the arete then grab sidepull above 3rd bolt, clip, high right foot to hand, rock on, reach out to a not great shelf. Just above for your left hand, there are a bunch of not great shelves but one has a really good divet. Figure out how to clip 4th bolt.

Fifth bolt, not sure how to get into the right position. left hand on pinch, right hand on the triangle, left foot on big hold, throw up to right above the fifth bolt to a really good sidepull then can crank your legs up. Then go up left to crack, some ok fingerlocks.

First three bolts linked together. Can't figure out crux from 4-5.
