The distinct twin peaks to the West of Lake Alta.
An area littered with classics. The schist is good, especially at Red Wall and Wall of the Evening Light.
Drive up the access road and park in the skifield car park. Walk up the signposted trail to Lake Alta. Skirt around the uphill side of the lake (there is a sparsely cairned trail) to the boulder field. Head up the boulder field for routes on the East Buttress, across and slightly down for Alta Slabs.
To reach the West Face of Double Cone, head up to the Harris Saddle via Shadow Basin. Head South onto the Queens Drive, another 15 mins past Red Wall, you will notice an obvious roof about 30m off the deck. This is Breaking in Brett.
