Ascents of Wild Honey

Got all the moves, but time ran out before sending shots commenced. A lot easier than it looks, and probably the best boulder problem I've ever been on.

This is one of the best lines in the forest and should be attempted by everyone that visits.

Couldn't get the fridge slap with right hand after big lefthand cross to moderate crimp

Forgot to tick that I got this last year! Actually more like V8 tbh. Such a classssssic of SE QLD!

Super cool climb. Hard move into the moderate crimp half way. Was good to jump on and try all the moves. Just can't link them all.

Great to have this one ticked off. Hepas of pads and spotters definitely helped the psyche of topping this out.

A few attempts for fitness laps post-rona. A few more for photos. Great showing the beta to the crew so they can snag a send.

Good to finally have a really good session at this after trying once last October. Fell off reaching for the "glory jug" at the top of the bulge. Must have next visit with enough pads! Superb line.

Almost flashed! Nice and cruisy

Tried to go for the end of day fitness lap, didn't go too well.

Every move linked in one session! Sent it from half way but yet to link from that yucky start jugness. Also the horribly glued and taped rock wedge in the middle crimp needs to be removed and fixed. Bad ethic but we didn't have any equipment to mend it.

Had a really great time working this with Alexander Jones. Every move is awesome but I feel like the easy start on the sharp jugs takes a little away from the line. Also quite disappointed with the glue in hold which is quite literally taped together. Not a good look.

Huge thanks to AJ for working out all the beta out last trip and working this with me. Felt really smooth on the send. Shoutout to the awesome crew. What a route!

Beautiful line, awesome movement, cool feature. 3 stars for sure. Fit me perfectly too, happy it went on first session.

Last trip dip and fell off the mantle Dino horns. Next time for sure! As close to sending as possible.

Heart breakingly close! Stuck the victory jugs and had no energy to get any further. Till next time

So close, shoe slipped off heeling the jug going into the bulge. Pretty concerned the jug was flexing, need to make sure people don't try to wedge the loose section back in too hard or the jug might pop

Spent 2 days at Pdaele and finally sent the best Boulder in passchendaele

Worked out most of the beta on Sunday with Nick and Zac. Refined it on Monday morning and had two burns before leaving for Brisbane.

Came off the finishing jug on the second burn.

Huge congratulations to Nick for sending it on Sunday, and Zac for repeating it.

Had my best outdoor climbing experience ever on this bloc, definitely deserves classic status.
