Had to give it two laps.

Short lap, pity is so short.

Couple training laps, none clean on the top section.

Numbed out and got stuck on the traverse.

Taking the draws down, I did it without the knee bar for extra pump.

Approach shoes cleaning lap.

Love this route, the slopes are awesome. Did it with the direct finish.

What a classic pumper.

2 Warm up laps, got out of shape on the ledge.

Such a classic pumper, nice to chuck a lap on pauls draws. Solid forearms at the top, you have to top out for a full tick.

FFA. Done and done, cleaned the holds first lap and remembered the moves. Chilled on the ledge for a while second shot and screamed my way to the top.

A hard one to grade this one, 23 to a sit, reachy 5 move V6, then the pumpy top move of the junkyard extension..

Great to repeat an old classic, Punchy number that it is.

Tried it years ago, quick clean up today.

Another quick play, did the boulder 3 times off the sit. Would be super on the link but really easy to drop the hard reach/dyno and back three match.

5th and easiest lap so far.

Lap.. I have conceited to the bum crawl along the ledge.

4 more laps.. Getting to the crux fresher with a high point on my third lap. Staying positive.

EOD lap, that knee bar is so key when your pumped..

3 more laps, not a whole lot of progress but I have the lower sections more wired. Fell of twice from the damp right crimp trying to set the poor left heel. Back in two weeks.

Day two..

Good progress today in more damp conditions. Its all about the micro beta... Got it down to one sit on my third lap but still feel a little way from the tick.. Wild moves in a steep and awesome position on great rock. 4 laps

After a good scrub this top boulder link-up goes.. Did all the moves in isolation but the holds are small and far apart. Cool

Another lap to suss out the the upper boulder extension. Good news it goes, bad news is its hard and reachy.

A quick warm down lap with Wade, struggled the most on the first mantle.

Wow!! With permission from Matt I have started working this mega project. Does all the best moves of Cougars then continues left on great edges and punchy slopes over bad feet. Did all the moves and got some mini links in the sponge today, Game on!!

So psyched!!

Lap lap lap, felt tricky and damp today. Time to get used to the Junkyard kind on steep again.

Second shot yeah yeah. My last hard route in the cave, and a classic route to finish on. This climb is super fun and considerably more quality then it looks. Wicked steep slope and heel traverses to a pumpy cave and sloppy ledge. Rad!! Maybe 28 in bad conditions but 27 for sure in today pearly conditions.

Sh*t yeah first shot today!! Such a high quality and fun rig. The top two bolts are very easy climbing but you would kick yourself if you fell off.

Warm up repeat. 23 with the no hands knee bar.

Repeat warm up, drop knees for 10 points.

Cleaning up an old old dog, glad to see this route still goes but it is pretty nails. Crimp like a mofo then bust up the the slopey ledge. One of the lest steep route at the cave but one of the crimpist.

Soooo close today!!! 4 more laps fell off the post crux jug on my third shot, grade 20 from there to the top. Thanx for the new beta luke, 28 for sure just got to bang out that last move.. Awesome boulder route, can't wait to get back..

Another damp lap, glad the conditions got better as is was foggy and very spooge when we got here. Fell going to the jug at the end of the crux.

A little bit better then I remember, had to down climb the crux.

Awesome route that is much steeper, sustained and pumpy then it looks. Took me a little while to figure out the transition from the jugs onto the flake… Climbed via a very unique one of a kind boulder sequence then its just a matter of containing the pump through the better part of beep beep. Thank god for the jug on beep beep, I was wailing loud.

A good bit of fun, the crux is short lived but pretty slopey. I misread the top half and climbed direct up the arete only to find plenty of dirty rock. Cut left after the crux on nice clean rock.

Repeat. Still think this is a stiff route, I am surprised to see the some of the holds and pockets are getting polished like limestone. Great power mantel!!

Repeat, did the early bird dead point start today.

Two more laps sussing beta. I need a good day of crisp conditions to send this one but it feel very doable. Psyched.
