Ascents in Tenerife by Oscar H

Very hard in the sun when very tired.

Happy to have climbed to the third bolt at least.

Have done the two routes of this linkup previously, so can't really call this an onsight.

Couldn't conjure my power animal and do the the (maybe rather obvious) move to the right at the end on the onsight go. Tried to cheat by catching a pocket instead. It wasn't good enough 🙂

Pretty hard crux moves. Should maybe avoid clipping the bolt in the middle of the crux.

Very hard crux, or at least hard to read. Don't know how to climb it 🙂

Thought I knew what to do, but had to rehearse the moves. Climbed badly but could hang on. Nice to have ticked it.

Hard to keep it together for so many meters when I'm used to 15m sport routes.

Could get three stars when it wasn't for the pigeons and the chossy rock just before the anchor.

Fell on the very last move before the anchor. Hidden catch. Still pretty satisfied with my attempt. Fun route!

Drilled pockets forms the crux. From there it's ok but easy to the top. Nice to have climbed it but not something one must climb here.

Some polished steps. The anchor has moved to the right. The finish is probably nicer up left.

The start of the route is rather strenuous. After that, you climb on good grips.

Had to fight my way to the rest before the finish. Don't know if it's a hard 6c+, but probably harder than 6b+.

Couldn't figure out the crux.

Heel hook and straight up. Don't go right after the rest. Let's hope I remember my beta if I ever come back.

Would get one more star if it wasn't for all the pigeons and what they've left behind...
