Ascents in Obelisk Beach by Matthew Ritchie

Really enjoyable climb. Some good toe and heel hooking to a nice deadpoint and mantle finish. Ripped a couple of pieces of rock off one of the last holds, but what's left still feels good and no harder/easier than before - the joys of seaside bouldering.

A few of the holds were wet and dirty, might be fun when fully dry and clean. Protecting the finish was a bit iffy but the holds are all good.

First move definitely the toughest

Enjoyable, nice undercling to gain the top lip. Small bottom pocket was seeping a bit.

Fun moves to and from the big eye

Felt much tougher than the other V2s, pulling off that diagonal edge to slap for the big lip was rough on the fingers.
