Last Climb left. Gotta try these things

Warm up.

Thought this was amazing. Had heard it was chossy and dangerous but has obviously cleaned up a lot. Really good... and long!!!

Had hopes but way too hot to hold the crimps. The rest of it felt easier than I remembered whereas the crux felt harder. Probably the hottest day here so far.... I’m dying....

Repeat. Better than I remembered. Look for the big holds which takes you on a wandering path.

Finally. Second shot.

First shot to get the draws on. 2 hours helping rescue someone out of the canyon (clip every draw people!!). By then it was in the sun on a 39 degree day so TR to clean it. Unfortunately (or fortunately) got it clean. I'll come back.

Another climb I'd put off by watching others. Really good if you meander. Probably terrifying if you don't.

Good warm up

Second shot. Was put off doing this by watching too many bloodbaths or terrifying leads on this. No way near as bad as I thought. Pretty much all jugs except for two moves which might be hard to see. Even on a 38degree day was a pleasant climb.

A crag full of classics!

Hard to onsight as you can't actually see the holds! In sun by 1.05pm.... just made it!

Harder than the 6a with the same start but still a good warm up. So long!!!

Half up this, cut across into Boulder dash at traverse to get the draws on easier on lower.

First shot. Couldn't clip draw at traverse to skipped it.

Really good. Alas, had to climb in the sun. But, it did mean I could see the start holds which was my issue last time. Got the start 3 times just as the sun hit then had to clean it. Unfortunately looking into the sun means you can't see anything! But hopefully now I can do the start, the rest will go.

When you're in a group of 3, warm up at 8am and then your second climb is at midday... you know it's not going to go well. Super fingery start. Not sure if I liked it as apart the the approaching sun, it was super crimpy on cold fingers. Maybe another day?

Possibly the easiest 6a in Thakek! And one of the nicest warmups!

First few moves are the killer! Worked it all out on the first shot. Past the start it's all good. (I do like a low crux haha)

Sun came over around 1.10pm. Waited a bit and tried again. Could not do the move off the ground. The light changing hid whatever footer I used first time. Clean to top after that though. Note to self, chalk up footers used first try so you can see them in the arvo!

Really really good fun.

Still can't do one move. Have worked out the rest but don't think I'm up to it. Pity but the rest is really good.

Awesome route! 3 holds are currently unholdable by me but contact strength I can get! (Still operating on 3 hours sleep)

Possibly much harder than a 5c+. 6a+??? Good climbing.

Noisy busy hot day at the crag but all the climbs so far are good.
