Had to work both hard moves but especially the crux move - without beta the pocket that you have to make a dyno for looks like it is shaped to cut your fingers off! While it is sharp it falls short of actually making the cut! With bit of concentrated power you can static it...

Very glad I decided not to lead this; had a tired end of day struggle. First crux to pod can be done static as a shortie if you're willing to pull hard on some pretty average holds. Felt tough for 23, even on TR

Second shot today, pumped off on the upper boulder problem first go! Somehow held a one arm swing off the crux finger lock? went pretty easy second go

Second shot today. Rad crack moves but tricky face moves on the bolt.

Tough but awesome! Definately 23. Thought I had the flash when I stuck the horrible deadpoint sloper, only to take an awkward fall on my gear after throwing to what I thought was a rail, but was actually another horrible sloper. Two distinct cruxes surrounded by great (but tricky) climbing. Good gear, and the rebolt means you can now trust the fixed protection (though the carrot bolts are kind of hard to put plates on, now that the manky pitons are gone). So many bomber wires! I'll be back.

Grrr... One fall on the last hard move (at the second bolt). Felt really strong through all the tricky moves, and fought through the first crux, pumped myself out a bit trying to clip the second carrot (BETA ALERT: If placing gear, just accept that you CAN'T clip it without adding a few grades). When I went to do the final sequence, in desperation I muffed it, and off I came. Pulled on, and then cruised the sequence, and all the way to the top. There is no way this is anything less than 23! =)

One really tough move from a flared finger jam to a pod. Too hot to bear down on the crimp-nails!

I Guess I did all the moves haha. More of an Aid Climb.

Had to do some dynamic aid to reach that pocket. Great climb, very hard.

Great climbing around the thin crack on good gear to two hard crux sequences up higher. Surprised myself hanging onto the pod in the crack. Don't know what everyone is talking about dynoing up to this... Super hard moves through the bolts of the face above the crack. Had to pull through in the end. Could see what needed to be done but nowhere near strong enough at the moment

Two distinct cruxes with some cruiser climbing either side. Hard to set up the bolt plate and clip the second bolt on the crux. Would consider skipping that one on a red point attempt. Great climb.

another piddo mega proj unlocked. this feels doable. well until that second carrot before the ledge. still don't have that sorted but maybe it will all come together next time? doubtful but here's to hoping. honestly minimal crack climbing on this which i guess checks out being the bluies and all. stoked to touch mr barber's finest (?) NSW offering. personal gear notes: save big dmm booty nut for base of pocket.
