Ascents in Arapiles as Tick by Robert Mudie

Man finally. Felt a lot easier with new shoes. Did it without stick-clipping the first bolt too, thanks to HB.

Surprisingly good, quality movement. Shame it's so short, basically just a boulder problem. 3rd shot. First 28 in a day. Easy for the grade though.

Did it with the second bolt pre-clipped, because CJ nearly took my head off when he slipped after the moves left. I generally try to keep my belayers head within reach of their body. I'm counting it.

Eh. The 22 start is cool, but there are really only like 4 moves to do after the carrot, and they kinda suck.

Finally did it, after no having been on it for probably almost six months. Cam was preplaced, but I placed the gear after the cam. Felt pretty dang easy.

Did it second shot. Traversed too low originally which took it out of me. It's better if you traverse low on the slopers though, I reckon. Makes it sustained. Might even just bump the grade up to 25.

Pretty sweet. Was expecting it to not be so good. Did it on Yasha's gear.

Can anyone tell me though, why there are five bolts at the top of Hornpiece? There are two abseil bolts, with chains, and three extra rings for no apparent reason. Seems a little absurd.

Third shot today, fourth day overall I think (not including a day a year ago, and a day two years ago). Super stoked. Such an amazing route.
