Ascents in Centennial Trev

Now we are talking. A very unique climb and the reason you would come here.

Flashed the lower boulder (V4) and the dyno crux but came unstuck on the high go again. Worked the move then on to the anchors. Second shot got with in one move of the jugs but suffered red-point fail.

There is two ways to climb the high roof traverse, by climbing the low version it avoids 3 small holds and adds a jug. Rematch next week.

Arch low = Hard 26, good 27

Well that settles it, the low way lost the heal flake so its back to working on the high line. Almost sent the 27 first shot until the breakage, second attempt on the really line I fell going to the thin fingers slot. This route saw 3 successful Flash laps today.

FFA. As rob feeling to smashed I freed this new line on the arch. Big moves on big holds, the rock is good but it needs a bit of traffic to clean up further. Bolted to mantel and top out but you can also lower if you don't want to walk down. Perhaps stiff for the grade if you top out.

As i haven't tried the arch yet, this is up in the top routes here, in my opinion. Wish i had the juice left to do the FA but passed it on to Jenga, as he bolted it for me anyway No easy 24 but maybe not 25

Tried the dyno in the middle and the bouldery start. Really cool climbing, starts out with very small holds then into big jugs, then a dyno and thats just the first half!

o/s. clean to 3rb. aided 2 moves. then struggle to last rb. was to rooted to commit to anchors. i think itll be a solid 25. easier than his right side project imo.

Had a few shots but fell near the top each time.

name of route: Wish I Had A Decent Brush. TJ's Arete project tried to go for the onsight on this but completely no chalk and really dusty and dirt so after the failing had to spend time cleaning it then came bk 30 minutes later manageg to send it just little bit dirty still. could be 25??

Pumpy with a couple of big moves. Blew the onsight by dithering on the penultimate jug. Ripped a hold off above the third bolt while cleaning the draws but don't think it will affect the grade.

3 stars this is not......? Some cool moves on crumbling holds then a hard crimp to join the 24. A few holds have pulled off, not filling you with confidence about whats remains.

It doesn't get much steeper than this, awesome monkeying through the Arch

name of route: No Half measures. Hughs Mega Roof Project apparently 23 call getting Barrelled, if you go to the first set of anchors in the middle of no where. but completely ignore that set off anchors and keep on trucking to the finish of Arch'a La Vista Baby anchor. might be 25 but doubt it

This thing is nails. Either I'm missing something or its a full grade harder than Stockholm Syndrome.

Defeated at the top by wetness and (mainly) lack of strength.

A punchy number indeed or maybe I got lucky skipping holds. Two crimpy sections split by a jug rest. You got to love to wobbly flake at the start, needs a pin or to be removed...

Not bad, felt so hard for me today though. I lacked power..

Jenga suggested i get on this after i watched him climb the 25 start, which looked pretty crappy and i had no chance at the 26 start today. This was the best route i got on today, i reckon. Wasn't able to get it on the flash though and couldn't muster any more energy for any more climbing. Will be back to clean it up and get on the Arch next time

Mmm that start is getting harder with every repeat. The start rock quality is pretty average but it does get a little better up higher. Some pumpy slopes up high makes keeps the interest going.

Perhaps a start 2m to the left up the ramp could be nicer.

Steep juggy fun. Lots of good holds and funky moves, one of the better 4's at trev.

Flash attempt was cut short by the blind throw over the bulge (crux).

Still had a little fight on the second shot! Good, steep fun!

Ginger tried the bottom, and now it has a couple of less holds (he was probably the first normal size human trying this route). Hard bottom, had to campus it, right crimp left solid hold, and brutal campusing untill you can put both hands on the hold before the crack. Would like to see someone doing it the technical way. From there pretty nice climb, Further up one reeeeaaaachy move from 2finger pocket reminds you that Attenzion! it's a 24 you still didn't ticked it wanna see hobbit solution

Had to work out the top move (i used something unchalked for my left before the top jug which kind of worked) - glad to finally do something hard(ish) at Trev.

So many holds breaking off at the start! Retreated due to attempting it as a warm up.

Really fun big moves on jugs but I couldn't quite make the big move to the anchors.
