First 27 in the mountains! 🤟 Tried pretty hard to get it putting the clips in, but fell off after the last bolt, heart breaking! Absolute limit for that last move, I chuck up a high heel/knee scum thing at the end and whichever side of my leg the rope goes it always feels wrong! Mega awesome/scary finale and a true grovel!

Went for a red hot flash go with some beta from B1 and to put the draws on for JH in the morning, punted going for the break. Came back in the evening to finish it, expecting to put it away in one. First evening go was pretty crap, with the clouds parted and the sun baking down on me, it all started feeling too bloody hard. Got back on with 30 mins of daylight left and beautiful cool condies, went down with relative ease. Mega classic route, can’t wait to never go into/out of that hole again though!

Was fighting bloody hard for a 23 onny. Absurd amount of chalk through the crux, probably retreated to the rest 3-4 times before committing to it. Crux sequence was awesome but probably just as hard as “La La Land” but I probably just didn’t find the easiest way?

Pretty close on the ony, think I read it roughly right but kinda misjudged one of the crimps through the crux. Subsequent goes they got real slippery, guess I had a bit of a breeze first go. Scraped through on the third burn. Fun route! Kneebars galore!

Fun varied climbing on glue. Fell right above the outrageously high first draw on my second burn. Came down and went straight back up for the send. Somehow made the top harder on the red point go by leaving my feet behind and only just clutched the glory jug!

Full sun, 6th/7th pitch of the day was pretty ambitious but I’d already blew the onsight years ago, so training laps I guess! First go felt dead good but foot popped at the crux. Second go was cooked.

Not even close on the flash go! Pulled through both cruxes on the second go then spectacularly dry fired of a good crimp reaching up for the ledge! Lowered for another attempt to find I could no longer pull the bottom crimp despite not really feeling tired. But frustrating bit still a fun route.

Didn’t intend to do this with the sun directly above but had to get the draws down. Went for the onny anyway, totally rushed it, fell got mad and then speed-aided to the top. Probably a pretty nice climb.

Fell while clipping the last draw before the anchor, basically cliiped mid-air! Next time get the right hand on that scoopy bit and clip under with the left. Reckon it'd be hard to get to the crux with enough beans to do it mind.
