Not an easy warm-up

Retreated at half way mark to fetch a .5 to protect my psych out for a second attempt and send. Really really enjoyable old school route!

Warmup. Felt really damp thus much trickier.

Really good! Techo corner start, then punchy steep pockets and slopers to the top. Could be one of the more popular routes at the County with some TLC. Fell off on the last moves on the flash attempt, just too pumped as a warmup.

Knowing the beta about hidden carrot bolt above the ledge makes it more bearable, but it’s still groundfall or a nasty fall on a slab from here. The moves on this route are great, the bolting not so.

The route has a potential, but the bolting killed it for me. Can’t understand why second bolt is so far and hidden from any view (like if carrots are not hard enough to see), third bolt rediculously far right up, but just a bit higher, another two bolts a meter apart from each other. The guide book (new one) doesn’t indicate any of this so read The Crag.

Some interesting moves but with some weird rock.

A scary and gripping warm up. Super weirdly bolted and i'm not sure where it finishes, i ended up just topping the cliff. Mostly glue in carrots in bad places with the occasional original piton for historical value.

Thought I was on Contractual Obligation. Started up CO (~gr21) (Onsight to ledge), then finished up this. I found the CO section quite scary and dirty, and very runout. I fell off the crux of Debtors Prison due to it being overgrown, cleaned it out, lowered-off and climbed all of P2 clean. The DP section had some rad moves up the flake, and some engaging face climbing above, but it was also dirty, snappy and overgrown. Not recommended.

Way better than expected, it climbs so well! Probably a bit of a softy but with the new rings it should be on everyone's list!

Clean repeat. A really good route up an obvious series of features, marred only by sections of dubious rock. Interesting, varied climbing the whole way. Do the arbitrary mantle past the anchor for a more interesting finale! Not too hard for the grade.

If you had told me it was an 18 I wouldn't have argued. Pretty soft, though I took a couple of up and down climbs for the last move to find the good hold

Runout over slab with seemingly only 1 good gear location up high? Decent if quite bouldery climbing but the runouts seem dumb and dangerous to me...

Definitely a hard crux. If there were lower offs I didn't see any. Maybe they've been chopped?

very tough for a warmup. Bit of an effort to anchor at the top and get off the route. could really do with some rings.

More of a flonsight, since there were draws on the bottom half. An engaging route

Pretty good. Needs a rebolt of the bottom half but its quite a good warm up, with some cool moves.

Heaps of cool climbing on this one, solid for the grade. Couple of sillly runouts and no anchor detracts a little.

Gave it my best shot on the onsight. Ended up hanging off a jam past the 3rd bolt and dropping some rope down to pull up a cam. Fell off going past the upper crux pocket due to climbing into the blankness. Sent next shot after Jenna's flash. Even with the chips this is total quality!

First half is fairly take it or leave it but some cool moves in the top section.... not something i'd like to take a fall on though...

Some cool movement with a surprisingly tricky move at the end. Somewhat spaced bolting/gear placements, but still safe. Enjoyable.

Good movement up a series of flakes and a vague seam. It now has about a million carrots on it (contrary to what the guide says) and is safe as houses. The climbing gets interesting and more involving the higher you get. Pumpy.

A hidden gem. Varied, interesting, old-school climbing with pretty good rock (for the most part) and some disturbingly manky hangers. A funky warm-up.

I think this is what I climbed? Hard and sustained climbing with a neat hands free rest halfway. Sweet climb but a really pumper.

Better then it looks, bit of crapy rock down low but it gets better the high you climb. Worth a lap just don't look to closely at the hangers.

Back in the bluies Yo!!! Nice to be back The crux of this interesting warm up was by far trusting blue mountains choss again.
