Picked the wrong flake to huck for. Fell and lowered rather than checking out the top. Which proved to be a mistake. Done as one big pitch from the ledge.

This glorious "clean on second" ascent is an upgrade for my 2015 lead dog. It still felt hard.

Was very thankful for a bit of chalk and beta. Definitely would not have onsighted it. The low slab crux would be "interesting" for shorties. The top section is a wandery mission.

Have "saved it for the onsight" for years. This reminded me of a really good Point Perp route. Pockets, a blunt flake with feet pasted on nothing. Loved it, and very happy to OS it.
