Lost my nerve (for the dogfest) after breaking some rock with a big cam. On the plus side I successfully stick-placed and stick-retrieved a cam. Might try this again with more padding and more big cams.

Wow what a fight. It's very hard to find an offwidth as pure and cool as this one... it's not repetitive at all with so many different subtle moves. Hard to give a grade but definitely a classic

Great day with lots of laughers and not so much actual mm of climbing. I quickly figured out I'm not an offwidth climber. Quote of the day: This is not Rock Climbing, it's Rock Clowning. There were other better quotes but they would too offensive to post here. Oh perhaps... Zac: "What you haven't done this (meaning offwidth) before?" Me: "no, I'm not into anal"

Pleasant. What are those two FHs there for? Be careful setting a belay for 1st pitch - those blocks are loose and stacked.

The climb is sadly neglected - we had to burrow into the moss and lichen to establish ourselves on the slab, then excavate the spiders, leaves, lichen and moss from all the pockets and holds. The top bolt is very poor. Would really be a very nice easy grade slab if properly cleaned. A newer (10-15 years old?) line of bolts runs up extreme left of slab next to gully, almost completely buried in 10cm of moss. There is a DBB & chains on top of P1, chains almost rusted through, but SS DBB glue-in ringbolts still okay.

Bashed through the stinging nettles to find the carrot bolts on the slab cushioned in a 2" thick green moss carpet... Perhaps not.

First pitch is ordinary, but second pitch is frigging AWESOME! So glad I got to take that lead! Amazingly runout with some pretty manky carrot bolts to take epic falls on, but the climbing itself isn't TOO hard.Committing, airy, scary, and a bit dangerous... But outweighed by the funky climbing and position.

Went through the obvious chimney for the second pitch. It was pretty physical but extremely fun. Bring large cams for the protection (at least a number 5 and a 4). There is an anchor after topping out on the left

Absolutely epic, must do. Goes in 1 pitch on a trimmed 70.

Thought we were on bilbo doing the left variant (didn’t really read well, just went for the best looking line). A lot of concern about running out of rope, but we made it.

Wasn't quite sure where the start was but picked the cleaniest crack+slab line that'd get us up to a DBB just right of a gorgeous slabby arete which I assumed was P2. Great slabbing on P2, all FHs but bring 2 plates for top.

Onsight but for the first moves. The log you used to use has broken, so now any ascent is literally off the ground. Nails start to high first bolt with cruxy moves and worrisome groundfall potential. Then nails sequence to high second bolt where any fall will also be a messy groundfall. After that you've mostly safe, though the climbing remains really tough, somewhat wandery, and scary. As per below, there are NO rap anchors. We made up a route to escape this climb. Masochistically great climb!
