Ascents in Desperation Wall as various tick types

Went off route on the last pitch and had to rapp down in the dark

Went for a look at the first pitch of The Whiteman. Was uninspired by the gear, but felt safe enough. Saw Damien Krell at the anchor on Zietgeist (top of first pitch), and traversed to there for a chat. Decided that traversing on marginal gear seemed like fun, so we traversed from here to tree belay on Black Orpheus (the hefty tree with the cable stays). Didn't see any more white men, or black women. Had good anchors at each end, but Bec noted the 'comfort gear' (nuts and micro cams mostly) I'd placed to get across. Bec LOVES cleaning shit gear whilst traversing. She also decided to clean the route, and pulled a few decent chunks. We decided to abseil down Black Orpheus to ground. An entertaining afternoon on Tibrogargan.

Fear of missing out on Trojan made us retreat! Abseiled off zeitgeist anchors and up the caves route for us! Was very fun 2 pitches, will be back!

Couldn't manage a clean ascent, unfortunately

Did first Pitch toady then got rained out. Nice climb though.

1st pitch fell just short of the top, want to go back and get this clean

2nd and 3rd pitch second clean

Underestimated this and messed up the crux.

First pitch harder than it looks. Very enjoyable route.

Matt setup top rope at rap station. Challenged by exposure, new rock type, but steady up to mid-way.

Did the first pitch of this one today, look forward to going back and completing both pitches this time. Great Views.

First pitch is definitely the harder of the two pitches, no communication with the first belay station once you pass the over hang. Climbed on twin ropes to rap off.

Got pitch 1 under my belt alright, but couldn't manage the crux on the second. :-(

Seconded first pitch. Bailed after reaching anchor from fear of heights lol

Had to bail on about the 6th Bolt at the small overhang. Left a Biner to retreat from. Couldn't find the hands above the small overhang and ran out of grunt after 4 goes. I must be getting soft!

This was too ambitious with my busted rib.

Took Mum for a scramble up caves instead.

Late start, climbed the first pitch very slowly, bailed at first DBB to get away from the heat and pack for Thailand.

Did the first pitch then bailed due to weather

Went for a late afternoon run, had torches but it was to cold and windy for the second pitch. Onsited first pitch then rapped.

Started too late at 4pm and spent too much time on the first pitch. Had to rap back down after the first pitch. Will be back for more soon!

Got one pitch in but the Queensland sun had other ideas and bbq'd us off the wall.

Linked pitches 1, 2 and maybe part of 3 into a ~50m pitch. Ended up popping up onto the big ledge at the end of P1 of zeitgeist where a large party was waiting to continue up their route. Harry came up and gave the next pitch a go but after pulling off a large rock and the rest of the pitch not looking much better, he decided to down climb back to the belay. We figured that was enough fun for one day and bailed down zeitgeist. Not really sure what we climbed but figured this was close enough.

Very good lead by Max of p1 in slimey, wet conditions. Pulled the plug after seeing p2 & p3 were just as bad.

Don't think we were really on the correct route for this climb, had to retreat. Suspect we were too far to the right of this climb. Had John & Mel with us for their first Trad intro.

Got to the slight overhang near the top of 1st pitch and ran out of steam will get next time

Wasn't happening for the lead climbers today. 4-5 attempts at the crux.

Got to the third bolt before the sewing maching legs kicked in!

good climb! with a wicked traverse! after we got off route cant wait to have another crack at it

Did the first three pitches then headed up the BO chimney due to dodgy gear on the 4th pitch Second pitch is very runout and riddled with death blocks
