Ascents in Spanish Galleon

Went rightish at the end instead of traversing left.

A bit contrived.

Luckily it was a warm day; the heat made the rock expand and the holds got just big enough

Great route. Flash attempt ended two moves before the finish jug.

The crux moves are doable but low percentage at this stage.

2 cruxes and lots of falls. With no chalk on the climb had to find the holds all by myself. Tough times.

Did it a second time avoiding escaping onto the arete. Also didn't do my Miura's up so I could bend my toes and smear properly which really helped.

Got it on the last attempt of the day =)

Oh so fun! Fun climbing upto a great rest, leading up to a difficult (for me) finish. Didn't bag it, but I'm so close!

Fun moves, with plenty plenty rests inbetween. Good fun once I got into the flow of it.

Fell off one hold away from the end! Really fun line.

Fell off at the start because I didn't think to bridge...almost onsight. Nice little warmup with a thought provoking move.

Enjoyable. Take a sling for when it branches left.

I found the moves at the first bolt ridiculously hard at 5'8"... Rest of the climb is okay.

Best of its style anywhere.

Took two shots to get the sequence sorted, by then it was too cold to keep climbing. Very technical, I like it.

soft(ish) 6 or hard 5...call it what you will, either way a frickin awesome climb and a must do in the three star classic Galleon trio! Get on it and enjoy!!

Good route, definately worth doing. Give yourself 22 if you avoid the final face moves by finishing up the arête and crack.

22 going direct up at the top rather than heading left. Going straight up seems the natural follow your nose way to go
