Really enjoyable multi. Retains the adventure flavour without ever feeling too serious. Even found a nice ledge to propose on (and she said yes!).

Hard to know if this was the climb we did but it was right next to the abseil line and nicely carrot bolted and dbb.
All the climbs here look the same same but different anyways.
Bit like buffalo granite but smooth and you don’t know if your foot hold is good or if the flake will fall off.

Just follow the bolts - except for the left trending crack line after the first bolt on pitch 1 (natural pro here to reduce the run-out).
Also small cam off to the right on pitch 3.

Another day in which we thought we could get in 2 routes but had to settle for one. On the 3 abseils we ended on the right side of the lower apron and it took us awhile to work out you have to cross around the bottom then up a bit on the other side to get to the bottom of the route. The climb itself really was good with the first move arguably being the hardest. All the belays are fixed hangers. All the gear was carrot bolts (6 hangers minimum required). Only placed 1 bit of gear on the first 3 pitches, a #2 cam. The final pitch was all cams, never finding the elusive bolt and finished at the rap anchors. Had a fair bit of rope drag on that pitch. We did the climb on twin 50s. Was a beautiful day and it was marvelous watching the wedgies doing helixes on the thermals in the valley far below.

V4 | FA ★★ Irn-Bru - with Jess | 3m | Mt Cole | Tue 7th Jan 2020
Probably my most favourite climbs I've found. Started off as an okay climb, but the large flake at bottom-right that has a good footer came off with a bit of jiggling, and drastically improved the climbing. Quite consistently and varied challenge. Rock quality is excellent, fall is initially unnerving but can be padded really well despite the limited space. Reasonably confident the grade is V4ish

V3 | FA ★★ Traditional Glaswegian Bar Fight - with Jess | 4m | Mt Cole | Mon 6th Jan 2020
Dyno-hand-jam and fun footwork at start, and what looked fairly easy top-half turned out to have almost zero good holds, only some feint jams and frogging-compression on the arete as feet. Not 100% sure the grade is V3, but felt about that and very much didn't want to re-do the top section to verify

V1 | FA ★ ASDA Chicken Wings - with Jess | 4m | Mt Cole | Mon 6th Jan 2020
Lower part might be easier facing the other way, but would probably make the top-half sketchy. Not sure about grade, but felt about V1'ish, but potentially V0?

V0 | FA ★★ Nae Driech - with Jess | 3m | Mt Cole | Mon 6th Jan 2020
Good climb. Felt V1 being pedantic about avoiding dabbing on rock behind - probably easier if you don't care about this. The rock quality on this block isn't as good as the others - has some crumbly features intermixed with solid ones, and they can be a bit hard to differentiate - would clean up to be good, but unlikely to ever get enough traffic.

V1 | FA ★ Wee Bit Driech - with Jess | 4m | Mt Cole | Mon 6th Jan 2020
Much nicer movement than Nae Driech, particularly in the transition, plus a nicer top-out. However, while the holds used all seem reasonably solid, so did the other ones that broke of with some light brushing. Fall is good providing you can pad the gap between this face and the boulder at the bottom (a Mad Rock R3 squishes perfectly in providing a good flat landing)

Yeah as mentioned by Ben the holds are pretty sketchy so you have to trust your feet

Fun well protected adventure climb. Didn't feel like a 15 most of the time. Pretty much entirely protected by carrots. A few small-medium cam and nut placements are available which reduce the run-outs.

Good test of your shoes grip, my resoled Finales (2021) were perfect. The start to get on the rock was the hardest. Once you get going you gain more confidence. Bonus seeing a huge white glider go past, very close, at about 100m. Next time bring GoPro on helmet to catch gliders/hang gliders.
