Ascents in Illawarra and Shoalhaven as various tick types by Graeme Hill

must be at least a mega classic as i have climbed it three times now and usually i wouldn't touch a climb of mine with a big stick after doing the first ascent.

this climb is worth three stars except for the slab at the bottom which being grade 10 is worth -3 stars. technical climbing until the finish jugs which lucky for didn't break off this time.

deserves more stars

One of the best routes on this wall once you overcome your fear of moss and loose holds. Could be a 19, i will have to check with the other pensioners when i go to the gym next Tuesday.

fantastic route gripping climbing to the very end, lucky i didn't pull the 25kg block off and kill my wife with it!

anything with this much worth of stainless steel and epoxy has got to deserve at least a good no matter what the climbing is like.

Gently overhung with loads of bolts. This route must have cost somebody in excess of $200 with the rap chain set and the red epoxy. I wouldn't want to pay this much for the junk i put up! Get out there and do it so Evan can get value for the effort.

Looks ugly and the bottom moves are burly and will probably snap off but the climb is a classic, three stars except for the ugly & snappy aspect.

May feel harder when the rain washes off the ticks. Trod all over the crunchy yellow bit and nothing fell on to my belayer so it must be solid. Bit of a tricky end sequence for a grade 19.... who puts this shit up?

Better than its left neighbor. Doesn't collect the dirt like Sunshine does, but i longed for the dirt feeling and missed it on this route.... bring back dirt climbs i say.

Two stars? Deserves more. A little bit of dirt never put me off i climbed at Stonehaven once, its all dirt. A bit of jiggery pokery got me to the first bolt and i climbed it from there.

Nice slab that gets better the higher you get up the wall. Rock looks a bit dodgy down low but its all pretty solid. My advice is not to waste $5 worth of epoxy trying to glue up flakes just go bolting with a small crow bar and lever them off the wall. There is always a hold underneath or nearby and it rarely changes the grade of the climb just makes you think a bit more.

Climbed this after an epic try on an un-brushed super sandy project. Nice relaxed climbing.

Nice route. Very long even with a 70m rope i would be a bit careful getting off. I had a 60m rope and tied a another rope to the end and it looked like a stretch for a 70. No real crux just a little bit of a pump on the upper head wall. Another very expensive route with a fancy rap chain set and red epoxy. Thanks for your effort Evan, pity i climb them so quick.
