Ascents in North Wahroonga

Not as good as the direct start, a little sandy, mossy and cobwebby. Still quite a bit of fun with good pro in the crack. The large flake is a little bit exciting, it makes noises that keep the thrill going right to the end. Definitely no less than grade 15!

Not horrible but needs a brush. Exciting moves through the bulge on good gear. Definitely no less than grade 15 in my opinion!

Onsight rope solo FA. Pretty straightforward. Watch the ironstone edges on top.

Tough start with the coarse sandy rock, made harder by en-route cleaning. Took a few goes to crack it.

Went for the OSGUFA but retreated in prudence after several attempts at what turned out to be a ticklish crux and potential fall onto ledge. Candidate for a discreet headwall carrot.

Glad to have the string from above - flailed over the crux on invisible crimpers, high match, and a small stream of grit.

Love this clean rock, pro and breaks.

always a fun route, not sure about that new carrot? there is the bent one near the lip which has been there for years, and a sheaved of nub further up and back.
