Ascents in South East by Kwan Goddard Lee having boulder-cpr or ascent-date

What an absolute mission. Third shot of the day but got very close on the first shot but had an absolutely heartbreaking fall.

Full disclosure I started with the lower footer on unleash the dancer and went down to jugs at the start of smoke and mirrors before the top out. I'm looking forwards to coming back and trying some different beta too. Definitely still feels like the hardest problem I've ever done. It's certainly the problem that's taken me the longest. Thanks heaps to everyone who's worked this problem with me but especially Alex Mougenot Liam Sutcliffe Alexander Jones notlongnotstrong you guys are deadset legends.

What a journey. I only held taking the toe hook out twice; on my first attempt and on my last. Maybe gave it 15-20 shots. Felt pretty weak before my last attempt with painful skin and was about to head to urban but thought I should give it once last attempt. Put on the 1812 Overture and pulled on as the cannons started firing. Certified banger. Special shout out to Tchaikovsky.

Huge thanks to AJ for working out all the beta out last trip and working this with me. Felt really smooth on the send. Shoutout to the awesome crew. What a route!

What a journey. Forgot my kneepads. Tried the moves a few times but during the walk in Ben's shoe fell out of my pad. Ran back and found Ben's shoe just before the T intersection. Ran back to the crag and climbed a little more before getting a call from Alex Mougenot. Turns out I left the kneepads in my car. Ran back to my car, picked up the kneepads, walked in again with Alex, and sent on the second attempt with kneepads. Maybe ~7kms of jogging is the secret warm up I've been looking for.

What an amazing climb, definitely one of the best climbs I've ever done. Some beautiful flowy moves with some proper hard ones. One of my stretch goals for this year!

PS jogging may also give you blisters which may detract from your experience.

Big thanks to Michelle for the support. Maybe about 10 shots with pretty bad skin at the end. I'd highly recommend bringing a brush for the crimp sloppers. For some dumb reason I left my brush at home. I'd say it feels V6ish but I haven't been outdoor bouldering for a while.

After giving it around 15 attempts it went last shot of the night. I still can't believe it went. What an amazing route. Slopey thuggy goodness.

Really cool short problem. Feels great to get your butt off the ground and even better finally getting the jug.

I'm going to split the difference and say easy V6 although it could be a hard V5. I don't know grading is hard. Quite beta dependant. Easier than holistic sit start though in my opinion.

Alright not going to lie I dabbed hard on the first go but I don't think it really helped me. I jumped straight back on it afterwards and did it without dabbing and the move felt exactly the same. Make of this what you will.

On the softer side of V7.

Edit: I gave it about 10 shots this morning. Josiah Hess reckons it's a V5 let's split the difference. Feels harder than chug and the fatmat traverse to me but I'm not game to give it a personal grade. Changed the ascent grade from V7 to V6.

Feels closer to V7 than V8 in my limited experience. Really nice flowy problem regardless of the grade.

Fell a few times and it felt way harder on the repeat.

Mantled only using the slopey lip. Doesn't make it too much harder but it's a really fun move.

Debatable flash as I fell on the slopers while trying Tuscan.

Really cool problem. You can mantel directly from the sloper and crimpy jug at the lip.

Feels more like hard V4 with solid kneebars

Feel strong enough after the first move to move up my feet but haven't landed the right foot on the critical footer.

Fell twice on the top section before topping out. The top slab is pretty committing. Cheers to Brian for the spot
