Ascents in Hallet Cove Bouldering

Fairly easy first climbing experience here... enjoyed by both my son & I.

Didn't like the feel of the rock.

Pretty good rock which matters because I don't have a pad.

Given the circumstances, only climbed this to around height from a sit-start - fall is hard to pad well because of the rock shelf under start, and the top section looked fairly sketchy so didn't try (juggy hold on topout is held in by dirt, and the rock quality isn't great for footers)

Think this is the climb which follows the wide right-leading crack

Fun nonsense. Definitely not V0 with how close to the ground the boulder is now, but potentially a storm or two could change that back again

A slight contrast to the 5m+ District 10, but equally fun. Almost gave up on this, but luckily Pete kept trying and inspired me to try again just before we left. Being well rested helped quite drastically. Lots of blind slopers - pretty sure this could be climbed blindfolded and it wouldn't alter the grade

Really fun - did the first half of this last time, but the extension into the second part of the wall is equally good. Shame there's no sane way to avoid the middle platform but otherwise really good

We built up a little platform with the nearby rocks, and with an extra pad the fall was safe enough (also turns out the route naturally veers of slightly to the right, staying away from the suspect block on the top-out). Really nice climb, seems quite intimidating particularly since none of the holds are really visible from the ground

I really like this climb - very balancey. The sit start took a lot of working out last time, and the final move is pretty committing

So-so. Wasn't too clear which jugs were the starting ones.

Quite nice traverse, the moves around the corner were fun. Also fun the opposite way, and can top-out as for LLTK

Quite nice climb. Rock might need a tiny bit of cleaning, as one of the starting jugs looks a bit questionable (but there's a solid hold right-next to it)

One of Adelaide's best lowball boulders!

Climbs well. Particularly like the turn around.

Hard for tall people. Best line on the boulder.

Planned to create this route today and happened to come up with the same thing. Some real nice holds on this side.

Came to check out the slab before the cyclonic winds hit. This was a fun traverse, keen to come back when I have my crash pad and there is a better chance I won't die.

Mad for crack

Nice line. Would consider this a 2 pitch boulder with a nice rest in the middle.

Some bold climbing on thin features. Not for the faint hearted.

One move from the top holds. Tricky thin feet.

Felt like a V2 but I am not the greatest at mantle problems, so my beta was probably wack. I think this is a solid V1.

Tricky line ultra low ball! got stuck trying to get feet around the corner to top out and resulted in dabbing on the ground. Feels like a solid V3

Sustained. Lowball classic!

Thought provoking slab line. The crystals at the top are sharp!

Didn't think much at first glance of this boulder but the lines climb really well.
