Ascents in Eldon having Beta

Samson convinced me we could still get on with a day of projecting with only one harness. This birthed the beautiful dyneema swami belt which came to be inspiration for the route name.

The climb of the day, while it seemed simple enough on the first go linking together this lengthy 8m climb became quite the struggle.

Ps watch out for rope drag after turning the lip.

Bailed from the onsight 'cause I'm a sook, then top roped it clean first try... awkward! :-/

Great fun route, cool hand slots on the steep section, looking forward to returning for the red point!

Fun route but very short, would be a classic if it were four times higher!

As an introductory climb for the day it had me skeptical about the rock quality of the area, when a seemingly solid bowling ball sized rock fell into my lap and subsequently another large block went flying higher up in the licheny mess .

Rock was wet and the second half is covered in (wet) lichen. The first half is chossy but steep. Not the best!

Gooood fun! Crag classic so far!

Super fun, strange movements including a small cave-like insert. Soft sandstone- broke a little outcrop hold.

Reminds me of Piccolo at Araps, same climb but with bolts and ants.

A super nice warmup for the rest of the crag! Mellow moves and nice and juggy over the bulge.
