Awesome kneebar halfway up the steep bit. Could be 12c if you had no idea how to jam, but the line is a crack. Probably really a soft 12a.

Sandbagged onto this by Steve. Has some hard moves, but main difficulty was finding all the hidden holds!

Made me sweat, especially getting the final jug. Some pretty burly parts, but unfortunately (fortunate for me) it's not very sustained.

Amazing. Hard to get off the ground, and a long way to the first clip, but rest of p1 fairly easy, with a harder step left at about 2/3 height. Second pitch gets 11a in the guide, but is definitely the hardest/most sustained. Awesome slabbing. p3 has a couple of hardish moves, but generally felt easier than p2. p4 fairly straight-forwards, with one slightly harder move going past the 4th(?) bolt.

Good fun. Steep jugs with a single V3 move at the 3rd bolt. Would deserve a star or two if it was a bit longer.

Bit of a one-move wonder, but nice rock.

Unbelievably didn't screw it up, despite my best efforts. Crux is around bolts 3-4, with top section pretty simple.

Pretty fun

Deserves a couple of stars, even if it does naturally go onto the trad line next to it near the top. Excellent first pitch with a fun start and slabby arete, and then a balancy start to the second pitch.

Gets you pumped if you're unfit, but otherwise pretty simple climbing.

As the guide says, not the best warm-up. A pretty ugly climb, really. Nowhere near two stars!

Was meant to do Ladies First, but it was getting dark and completely missed the bolts. Progressively harder right to the top.

Good but not great. Some really enjoyable climbing interspersed with some not-so-good climbing. Pitch 3 climbs the best I think. Pitch 4 is given as the crux pitch, but hardest move is near the start of pitch 5, and pitch 6 is the most sustained. A nice day out, and well worth the walk.

Post-lunch warmup

p2 (10a) only, accessed by traversing from Xenolith Dance anchors.

Could be better than we thought, as 50% of the holds were wet. A lot or the rock is partially rotted. Quite a different start, followed by lots of pumpy sidepulls

Sections of glassy slab just below bolts make for more fun climbing.

Unexpectedly long, and climbs very well. A bit confusing right at the top, trying not to cross onto the route to the left.

Not the best gear, and not the best climb!

Final pitch only as part of Stairway to Heaven. A little dirty, and soaked on R side, but didn't touch anything wet until the top. A little chossy.

Good, but definitely aware of the runouts. A long, long way to the first bolt!

Some hardish moves for a 10a. Reasonably well bolted, but a fall on most of the route would be pretty shitty.

Beware. The massive jug on the right after the roof is flexing, and will break off soon.

Very dodgy rock in middle section needs cleaning off when no-one's below.

Not that great. Very nice setting, but the climbing isn't amazing considering the other quality routes that grade in the general area, and some sections of bolting are just plain weird.

Fun, juggy gym climbing. Pity it's so short.

Climbed after Deano. It might be dirtier than a lot of the other climbs here, but it climbs really well.

Good fun, with a thankfully good jug after the roof.

A bit hard to stay off the arete until the point it actually crosses. The rock on the upper half is really cool.

Fun start and finish with super easy middle

Second shot. Dyno past the 4th bolt cuts out a lots of moves. Once the sequence was figured out, was easy enough to go fast and beat the pump.

One hard, cruxy move past the first bolt. Did the 'original' slab start, is highly contrived

Oops! Buggered it up the first time, thinking it wasn't that bad until the halfway mark, where things suddenly hit me...

Second shot. Slipped off first time going past last bolt. Pretty intimidating bolt spacing!

Jumped on this to say we actually climbed something. Really contrived, but still fun.

Also placed a 0.4BD before the first bolt halfway up. Really dirty initial slab. Had to come in from the right a bit below the second bolt. Broke a footer on the first shot.

Only did first pitch (10c??), sortof by accident...And skipped to the right at the top as it was wet and slimy!

First pitch only. Was just starting to get a bit of sun, so had to get up it quick!

Up the Grand Wall

Steep. Reach to the left of the arete to get past the first bolt at 10c

Did the direct start at 11a, although the top was definitely the hardest.

Really fun, and relaxing slabbing. Belongs near the top of the Apron.

Great and well protected early lead for aspiring slab climbers

Followed Deano up. Very distinct cruxy moves, with a bit of reach helping towards the top.

Getting dark, so just seconded Deano. Really good. Slabbing the start and the an awesome, delicate and technical arete to finish. Use a 2BD at the base of the arete.

The features make for great fun, especially the slabby undercling traverse. Just a pity the name is misleading. There is a large phenocryst, but no xenolith!

P1 only. Good lead by Alice. But it's still not a xenolith!
