Ascents in Parking Lot Wall having Beta

Description seems misleading, this is not a sport route with six bolts. Great finger crack but I don't think it is 5.10d but more like a 5.9

Took a no 5 as well

Time to focus on crack, felt pretty good, gear is definitely big cams, no 5 fits on a few spots

There's two places (diagonal crack) where you can add protection. No need to carry a full rack just for two placements. Hand size cracks. Optional too... There is an anchor after the last bolt on the last slab, near a bush in the back. Just no rap anchors.

Tightened the right bolt on the anchor with my nut tool,could probably use a wrench.

Super chill great for a new leader.

Awesome route, may want some bigger to protect the middle (bigger than a 3).

30m rope wasn't long enough, backup knot in the device on lower

Got lazy up top and placed an undersized offset nut, held for the lead and ripped it on solo TR laps...oops. Lead aid solo+8 TR laps.

The best of the ones I have done so far in this wall, good gear and wide enough to make it interesting

No moves more difficult than 5.10a, but challenging and balancy slab crux just after the first bolt if I remember correctly.

Had to use the crack to the left to get off the ground. Would deserve a higher grade if the cracks are out.

Fun climbs and good practice leads. Easy access. Some climbs are quite challenging.

Rachael's first Trad lead! I pink pointed up after clipping her gear... And dropping into a few pieces on purpose just to show her they would hold.

Great feet, terrible hands, so a pretty ideal slab climb, but felt harder than 5.10b.

Climbed up after to give feedback on gear placements.

Gets progressively harder as it goes up, finishing with a few pure slab moves with pretty much no hand holds at the top.

A bit of a tricky section for the grade through the middle.

First official outdoor climb.
