Ascents in Blue Grotto Promontory

Traverse goes around a small block and you can't see the next bolt around it but there is one right around the corner. If you go up too early you end up at the first belay of prism.

Bottom half is overhanging with nice and big holds, top part is vertical/slabby with beautiful technical climbing.

Stunner of a setting! Morning shade was welcome.

Beautiful and sustained. Delicate exposed Slab on top.

Very Run out and hard for the grade.

Nice warm up before The Piano Player and Prism.

Escape route with a heavy backpack

Tie into a ground anchor to begin. Pitch 1 is an amazing sea level traverse, and you don't want to fall for fear of hitting the water. You get swarmed by tourist boats also. Pitch 2 is a little wandering, and some loose material in places. Pitch 3 has a two options at the finish (from memory).

Nice route and some bold moves.

Didn't quite understand the route or there was ~5m distance between bolts in one place

Absolutely stunning setting. Traverse over the sea was super fun. Crux caught me out as tried to climb straight up the crack but missed the left hand hold that made it go. Took a rest before figuring it out. Such a fun climb. Thanks Andrew Warrington for taking me out!

First half is nice and easy climbing on big holds. Top half has 2 hard sections on small feet and small holds, very technical and beautiful, partly slabby. Wanted to give it a send go after checking out the route but sadly didn't have enough time left, felt possible
