Ascents in Lower Silvermine

2/3 tries. replaced the old rusted maillon

Cool little climb…pity so short

It’s more like a boulder then a sport rout, but it felt amazing to climb, it deserves at least two stars

Beautiful climbing, a boulders dream, but bolted. Been going back to this almost every weekend. Above my pay grade, sitting on every clip and have only made it to the left crimp over the roof.

Put the draws up and just gave it a quick go. Will come back to figure out that crux, yikes 😄

Quite a sustained route, like going at 22/23 into SOLID 24 crux! I tried the crux a million times and was able to stick the lh crimp long enough to finally get the top good hold, but then somehow cannot stand up from there to finish 🤣🙈

I got to the top today 🕺🏽😅 But hot dang it’s a hard crux. Still need to figure out the rest of the route to make sure I’m not so pumped when I approach the crux 🥵😂 Everyone says the rest of the route is easy, but I still think it’s sustained 22/23 with a hard 24 crux 😬 spicy little thing

After months I came back for this, put the draws up and climbed first go all the way to the top where I fell off the crux. The nicest I’ve ever climbed the route. Spent half an hour on the crux until my hands and body hurt and concluded that I’d need to walk away from it 😭 I was so close, but ultimately the crux is too hard for me 😥

My first 23, hmm, thought it would be harder, so I think this grade is a tad soft- but still very siked. Very beautiful route with great moves and sequences.

Gave it one quick go at the end of the day. Got to come back for this.

Yay, finally sent it! Such a fun route! Pretty sustained from the start, like 3 cruxes I had to work out and link up with a (much needed) soft ending. Enjoyed working it.

My beta: after first bolt, (crux 1) left waitress hand push up against rock, right layback, big move to rail (crux 2) left hand on sharpish point of rail, right hand on bottom layback, big move with right hand to hold (crux 3) left hand first to layback, right hand above that pinch that grip, get right foot high, beeeeg move to left hand postbox. Boom!

Fun route, pumpy and my kind of style, very similar to Pretenders (24 in boven) crux move just isn't as difficult) Definitely a good project for someone starting out on 23's

Oh flip, so sick ! I had to really work this route.... despite being shortish it really is pumpy! I had to keep dialling it until I had the lower moves neat so I could get to the second crux with some gas left in the tank! There are two cruxes and both are thin, hard on the body and committing. You are basically moving from rail to rail, each one JUST reachable from the last if you position your body correctly and then crank up. Very rewarding and safe climb that is well bolted. It's my only 23 so far but I'm sure it will be one of my favourites!! Get on it !
