Ascents in Sector 2

Looks like a very nice route following a left trending crag but unfortunately the compact rock offers only poor footholds and it is polished

Very awkward start. Missed clipping the 5th quickdraw as I climbed through the ramp and over the bulge. Not recommended as a warmup.

Bonita. Solo tiene un paso, pero para mí es por lo menos 6b+

Nice flowy moves. From the start until the first good jug it's hard. The rest is easier but a bit of an endurance thing then.

I don't have much experience with 7a's, but the grade feels about right.

First time on lead. Got through the crux at start nicely, but then didn't see the hold just below the third hold. Several rests on the rest of the route, though.

2nd attempt of the day - in top. Surprisingly I got to the chains without a rest.

Sending this while putting up the draws. Was insanely pumped at the last draw. Fingers almost incapable of clipping. Luckily I pulled it together.

Very happy to put a red point under this route. Required several attempts over three visits. This marks a milestone that shows me that structured training pays off.

Had two more goes on it while Falko was still trying the route. One failed, one succeeded.

Coming back after one year. Surprisingly, I got through the start boulder without falling. Ran out of juice at the second crux. From there on a few more rests. Level of pump at the chains similar to as when I sent it.

Easy and fun stemming until the small roof. Strenuous to pass the roof, but the holds are actually quite alright - once you get your feet high enough to get them.
