Ascents in L'Herbolari having Beta

Go to Spain they said, it‘ll be easy they said. Well, not so much with this route. Hard crimp boulder and very technical slab afterwards. 7c?

Hard Crux at the 5th bolt.

At the first crux went to the right. But better stay left and do a high left foot and take sidepull with left. Feels hard, not sure I can send it soon.

Really fun. Crux clip is a little spicy, couldn't commit to going any higher on the OS when I didn't know what was coming

Hard and reacy

Bouldery start off a ledge. Couldn't figure out a sequence.

One solid star for a solid crux. First red point try.

Really nasty crimps and hard for the grade.

Made the way through the most of the route, fell on the easy slab bit=D

one go before it started raining. First section is hard and reachy. Most of the climbing above the anchor was easy, a bit dirty and felt a bit snappy.

Great line with a sting in the tail. Don't get complacent at the last clip

Lost balance at the last draw :-(

very versatile: edges, flake, bulges and final with some jamming or liebacking, which sent me for deep dipper.

crux is traversing right to small ledge. then, pure enjoyment.

Draws were in, some beta by the english/ spanish dude-combo. Awesome features and holds in the first half to a ledge and an awkward crux. (Where I went a little more to the right than others after clipping the draw from one of the big holes. Handjam in crack, later high left foot on crucial foothold, one sloper for the right) First screams of the trip.

Great first half to the scoop. (6c+/ 7a on it's own) Then a sharp crack with bad feet and a blank part with monos (where I pulled on a QD, maybe there's an easier way?) to an easier top section. Felt hard for the grade. Rest day needed.

Fell right before the anchor... and was to tired to try again.

Words cannot describe how cool and amazing this route is. Just climb it. Do it. One of the best.

Two attempts.

7a in the Tarragona Climbs book, and worth the grade. Two goes today, fell off early on, wasn't trying hard enough. Remembered to try hard, and got there, not without getting my chalk bag belt hooked on a bolt in the middle of the crux and tearing a hole in my pants first though! [4]

I think it is a bit harder then 7a. Very bouldery moves. With a low amount of bad and slippery footholds.

35m trad style route. First half lay-backing a continuous flake to a technical arête to finish. Hardest 6c to date.

thin and committing, I thought it was very hard for 6a!

Best route on grey rock I did anywhere so far! Didn't expect to do jamming in Siurana! Flash by Leon which made it his first 6c.

Not my Route. Sharp and reason for restday

Nice climbing but a few of the bolts are stupidly placed. Why is the perfect crack with clean falls nicely bolted and then there are big (admittedly easy) run-outs above ledges??

Find the right pockets in the crux roof sectionv and move your feet up high for some beautiful climbing.

Totally amazing route. One of my all time favorites. Great lay back climbing, and the finishing arete is amazing. Classic!
