Ascents in Reunion Buttress having Beta

Nice beginning sequence.

Linked the 2nd and 3rd pitches, a bit of drag but manageable

Had to gather a little courage for some of the clips, but good feet the whole way up.

Lead pitch 2 only.

Had a cheeky look at the 7b, but decided the better of it

The first 2 pitches can be linked together. Fun face climbing for the 1st ptch and easy scrambling for the 2nd pitch. More strenuous face climbing on the 3rd pitch. We tied 2 ropes together to do just 1 rappel to the ground.

Ascent on 11 Oct 2017

Little overgrown on the scramble of Pitch 2 and good to have more alpine draws to reduce drag over the sharp rocks for Pitch 2 and 3.

With the stretch of a 60m rope, you'll be able to rappel to the ground directly below from Pitch 2 anchor. Take note to lower to the right side of wall (not the start of Pitch 1) and be sure to set the middle mark of rope at anchor and tie ends of rope!

What a cruisy, fun multi-pitch with great views!

My last climb at Crazy Horse. Was quite tired from previous day. Jugs, big moves.

Nice, juggy - pity it's so short.

Nice climb with a tricky traverse with wet left holds mid way up else rest of the route stays dry after a rain.

A pumpy power endurance climb that feels harder because of the polished holds. A tricky, traversy, crux sequence greets you from the 2nd to 4th bolts.

A tricky starting crux leading to pleasant face climbing on nice edges for the rest of the climb.

awkward start

Dirty. Some decent climbing interspersed with chossy crap. Tough lead at the grade.

Navigate a tricky stemming start to a slabby face with jugs and large edges. A fun, easy warm up climb.
