V3 Door Knocker Traverse - with Maria and Miguel Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Tue 28th Oct 2014
Very good climbing on this tiny boulder. Just having fun!

V2 Unnamed 4 - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Wed 22nd Oct 2014
First two problems in Yosemite that don't require some kind of effort, but only delicacy and technique (and a bit of self-belief). Techy slab into a careful mantle. Watch the descent!

V2 Unnamed 5 - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Wed 22nd Oct 2014
See Unnamed 4. Pretty much the same kind of problem.

V1 All Star Movie Mantel (All start movie mantel) - with Maria Boulder 2m Yosemite National Park Classic Tue 21st Oct 2014
Very technical slab, the kind you have to think about a lot while doing and end up praying that your feet don't slip. Happily, they didn't

V1 Marco's Traverse Boulder Yosemite National Park Mega Classic Tue 21st Oct 2014
Very nice line full of good holds and one big move and a straightforward mantle. Very nice to have feet here

V1 Unnamed 2 - with Maria and Miguel Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Tue 28th Oct 2014
Easy!

V0+ Unnamed 4 - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Very Good Thu 23rd Oct 2014
Similar to Unnamed 3, I found it a bit easier.

V0 Unnamed Face 1 on Little Columbia (Unnamed 1) - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Very Good Tue 21st Oct 2014
First boulder problem in the legendary Yosemite! Already, I felt sandbagged. This would not be the last time. This place is known for its hard grading. Delicate smeary mantle here!

V0 Kevin's Traverse - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Mega Classic Wed 22nd Oct 2014
A total sandbag. A beautiful, chalked knife's edge of a sandbag. More like V3, a tension traverse with a touch of endurance climbing. Simply awesome.

V0 Unnamed 3 - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Thu 23rd Oct 2014
Gotta keep the core tension on small feet and big handholds. Pretty good shouldery movement!

V0- Unnamed 1 - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Thu 23rd Oct 2014
Easy laybacking.

V0- Unnamed 1 - with Maria and Miguel Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Tue 28th Oct 2014
Easy!

V0- Unnamed 3 - with Maria and Miguel Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Tue 28th Oct 2014
Easy!

V6 Sentinel Traverse - with Maria and Miguel Boulder Yosemite National Park Mega Classic Tue 28th Oct 2014
An absolute king line, it only lacks a top out. Took me three days of trying- the moves came very quickly, but the link seemed impossible for me and thought it wasn't gonna go. Hardest moves are right at the start, slopey deadpoints on an overhang, followed by resistence climbing finishing with a V3/4ish boulder problem. Even though this is probably my hardest boulder ever, Human Energy took me longer, and the send was very unexpected. Didn't even get pumped. Sent a Yosemite V6- bring on V7!

V5 Unnamed 2 - with Maria and Miguel Boulder Yosemite National Park Mega Classic Tue 28th Oct 2014
An incredibly fun and uncharacteristically gymnastic boulder problem. Three finger pocket campus to the biggest jug in Yosemite, after which comes a mantle to a techy slab. Got on the send train after sending Sentinel Traverse, and was just having fun! First Yosemite V5

V4 Zorro - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Mega Classic Wed 22nd Oct 2014
Incredible mega classic line. Tension start with a few lockoff moves leads into grabbing a good flake and crimping with the other hand to throw a huge move to a jug. All day I tried doing this move static by doing the forearm equivalent of a kneescum (ouch), until these other guys showed me how, and then it was a straightforward affair. Most exhilirating move in Yosemite this trip! Stout for the grade, as usual

V3 Unnamed - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Tue 21st Oct 2014
Grunty and cut-loosey. Hard for V3. Try not to dab your foot on the tree behind you!

V3 The Big Moe - with Maria, Jolie and Teddy Boulder Yosemite National Park Mega Classic Tue 21st Oct 2014
So they told me this was V4- whatever! Incredible vertical cranking on crimps with almost imaginary feet, leading into a big move to a crimp and then a sloper into a stretchy mantle. Incredible way to end our first day in Yosemite. Also, we ran across these guys that we had also come across in Rocklands, South Africa! Found them in Camp 4 that day, almost didn't believe it! We didn't even know they would be there! Crazy stuff!

V3 Unnamed 1 - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Classic Wed 22nd Oct 2014
Thought initially you couldn't use the chockstone. Turns out you can. Done.

V3 Unnamed 2 - with Maria and Miguel Boulder Yosemite National Park Mega Classic Tue 28th Oct 2014
An incredible endurance line that leaves you panting for a while! The start of a really really good day.

V3 Unnamed 2 - with Maria Boulder Yosemite National Park Good Thu 23rd Oct 2014
Height dependent. Because I really had to reach for the crimp, that added a lot of difficulty! Sharpish.

V2 Housekeeping Face (Unnamed 5) - with Maria, Jolie and Teddy Boulder Yosemite National Park Mega Classic Tue 21st Oct 2014
Incredibly sandbagged but so good! Cranking on overhanging edges at its best. Scary to go this high up in a boulder at the top out! Lesson learned: always consider matching hands if not sure about a big crank.
