Routes as trad in Kvandalstind

Ascends up to Eastern ridge of Kvandalstinden. Marginally nicer to boulder hop your way here from Kalle (aiming for valley between Vågakallen/Kvandalstinden). The route starts up the boulder field on the right of a grassy ledge below a hand crack.

A little further up the valley from One move wonder, this route ascends the tower forming the base of Kvandalstinds Eastern ridge.

Approached from Festvåg hiking trail. From just below the summit, take the forked trail East down to the Festvåg/Budalstiden col. Continuing up again on a faint trail to gains West ridge of Budalstinden (some sections of exposed scrambling). From Budalstinden, continue headings East to the summit of Kvandalstind (Østryggen). A rope may be nice for this section, particularly if you plan on reversing the route.

To descend reverse the route or head South down the valley in the general direction of Geitvika (same descent as the Migan pillaren walk-off).
