Angular basalt climbing 100m from the beach
Description
A major retro bolt mission has extended and cleaned many of the routes making a very consumer friendly crag. Crag faces East. The rock is mostly clean, but a helmet is essential, and beware of rock fall.
Approach
Take Osborne turnoff on way to Pukakanui and drive around left (west) shore of bay. Park early after road turns to sand if in a 2wd, and walk 400m to crag. Otherwise park in turning area at beach end of main wall.
