Long multi pitch routes on schist with magnificent views over the Dart River.
Google Maps your way to 'Chinaman's Bluff', at the start of the Rees-Dart track. The gravel road crosses a few fords which may be unsuitable for 2WD vehicles after rain. Walk along the Rees-Dart track for about 45 min until the track goes steeply down to a stream before going back up. A few metres before the stream is a cairn which marks the access trail on your right to the bluff. Follow this trail (marked by tape and cairns) for 15 min to the base of the cliff. Go up and left along a narrow ledge for 100m, then veer right up to a bolted black slab. This is the start of The Ravages of Time.
