Fun crux.

Fun. The overhang is not as bad as it looks.

Good times!

Sustained, varied and long pitch.

Showers most of the day, snuck out about 4. Good crux moves, perhaps a little reachy with slightly tricky feet. Moved slightly right to finish up the top overhang above Preludes then its unprotected headwall. Quite blowy with huge nearby lightning and thunderclap while belaying on top - skedaddled off there ASAP.

Went up thinking this was Preludes. Still had fun!

Very good, albeit it's got a bit of lichen on it.

Cleaned and led new Direct Finish.

The climbing is quite good but there are major loose blocks on this that mean I would not do this route again or recommend it to others.

The bottom crux felt 18. The top crux past the second bolt is scary for leader as invisible from ground above a ledge and at least a grade harder. Dave pointed to the good hold to top out. Definitely would not be physio approved…

Really didn't think much of this one as I struggled up it.

Sloppy holds out right to mantle over the roof

Real hard to second when the sun comes over the top ledge right into your eyes. All you see is glare

Stuffed up the finishing overhang. Second take was easy peasy.

Stepped left into the next route in order to place a cam after the bolt. Tough crux for the grade. Skipped the bulge finish and set up an anchor above preludes in order to attempt to retrieve my nut from earlier in the day.

Nice route, but shame about the bolts - would be a better route without them IMO. Not sure which loose blocks Doug was referring to... maybe they've gone?
