	14 Hard	★★★ Lamplighter - with Robert Lord 1 10 30 Second lead by Robert Lord Rope drag can be lessened by having the second unclip the first runner after the leader is on a bit. 2 14 30 Trad lead by ThorAss I did the LH variant mostly because it seemed to have the most chalk on it. Was pretty stiff for 14. 3 13 18 Trad lead by ThorAss It's ironic that we were going to do the Lady Dihedral finish but Rob preferred the 13 to the 15. This was a rueful decision. When I got to the dreaded chimney traverse, I was only able to get a good runner in at the start; didn't have the right size to protect any further along. As I was looking at a big swing smashing into the corner, I climbed very carefully finally pulling up at the end rather relieved. Rob balked at this completely. I got him to take his pack off as we could get it on the abseil. However this didn't quite do it so I said put the runner back into the corner and clip one of the ropes. So now he was protected from both sides. He vows to go back and do it properly some day. On the abseil we collected everything and our day was done.	Trad 78m	★★★ Mega Classic	ThorAss
A great classic, something for everyone. First pitch is a glorified hike. Second, a wildly exposed crack and face climb for the agoraphobiacs, followed by the 3rd pitch which took me back to my caving days.

Absolute scenes. Pitch 1: We did not do pitch 1. Instead we started too far to the left and I ended up creating a new line (not in the book!). Would grade it 19, 0 stars. Pitch 2: Nice lead from Henry. Classic pitch. Glad we found the climb for this one! Pitch 3: Went to do the 15 variant finish around the corner instead. Comments from later parties confirmed this was a good life choice.

Just an insanely good climb. While the second pitch is the money pitch, the third pitch is the sketchiest. Awesome varied climbing worthy of the popularity this route commands.

Some absurd 3d climbing to be had on each pitch, with each pitch one upping the one before. Pitch 3 providing the goods with a bit of a trutch opening up into a cave that combined the best of both worlds of cave climb and Telstar at the bluies. Roof chimneying never gets old

Sensational climb, with so much variety including some route finding on pitch two. A glorious day out. Bring a fair amount of slings and runners, will prevent rope drag on pitch two. Pitch three is confronting but totally achievable. Identify what cams to place before committing to the chimney, should reduce a tad of the anxiety.

When I heard the last pitch was a chimney I can't say I was expecting to have to traverse through a chimney which doubled as the "roof" of a little cave and not just go up! Second pitch added a bit of exposure into the mix. What an adventurey line.

An amazing climb and definitely a mega classic. It had a great mixture of adventurous climbing culminating in the last roof. Zi led the first and I was going to lead both the second and third pitches but when I got to the cave I brought her up as I thought she would like to watch me climb the roof. Zi was keen to lead it so we decided to swap leads instead. Technically we did it in 4 pitches. Bring a 70m rope or doubles as the recommended single rope descent was not worth the hassle and an easier way to get down would have been to use the rap anchors at the top lamplighter.

Lovely climb. I forgot how much the rock pushes you off to the side for a lot of the moves. It was nice to follow the pitches this time and to correct my previous rope drag issue when I was first learning to lead This time through the chimney I climbed higher and had my back against the wall. I definitely prefer climbing lower and making some nice delicate moves across the rock on the vertical face.

Rob took the lead on the second pitch to give me the fun last pitch to lead. Seems so unlikely heading up into that bottomless chimney but protects very well and is unique for the grade.

The 2nd pitch has a very awkward move, almost like an offwidth. Plenty of pro available. Used a Hex to protect the chimney on the 3rd pitch
