Ascents of Tal

Really the best part of this is the second worst part of Toll. Its rather generic for most part and can be linked into a single pitch. The top however is horrendous, a campus start on very fragile rock with a nasty deck potential. Rock broke under me and its closer to 17 than 13. Be very careful and consider walking out of herbaceous gully instead.

It's all about the traverse pitch! A nice surprise a bit after the traverse to find a hidden carrot bashed into the floor of the ledge. The single carrot 2nd belay can be backed-up with a cam 2m out right.

Nope, I actually don't love this climb enough to do it twice over a weekend... Retrieving gear from yesterday.

Z-drags were a helping hand after challenging exposure for the beginner

Would probably rate it a grade higher because of the hard-to-protect traverse.

Did this in 2 pitches, Great exposure on the traverse.

Late start turned into watching sunset on one of the belay ledges and then climbing by torchlight. Bit of foliage at the end of P3.

P1/P2 nice. P3/P4 ordinary. So windy almost got ripped off the traverse.
