Ascents of Refusal as Onsight

Worth using some rope pro at top for belaying from above (or extend anchor a long way back towards top of route) and also for small wedge in middle of route (right side of first boulder).

More satisfying jamming for smaller hands and feet than the Obituary, and straightforward cam placements.

Easy TR solo access and would be easy enough to build a ground anchor for lead solo

Found this a bit harder than The Obituary, just as nice though.

Few tough moves at the start for the grade. Some nice corner crack sections. Fun climb.

Absolutely classic climbing for the grade! 3D corner-fridge-chimney system that should get more stars.

First trad lead in a while, felt a lot harder than 14 but probably due to lack of mental strength

Really good climb, I enjoyed it more than obituary. Hard start for the grade. Deserves 2 stars in my opinion

Climbs similar to Obituary except has worrying giant detached blocks up the top. Kicked out my last nut for extra excitement while in the final chimney but it was very secure from there.

Nice start. Rock quality gets poor towards the top, but easy through this section.

There’s a free #3 HB can near the bottom if you can get it unstuck. I tried and tried but it only got worse.

Really nice actually, but the first few meters do not feel like a 14...

Loose over the top and the rings appear to be in a death block so belay off the massive tree further back. Pretty sustained down low felt like 19-19

i fucking loved this. taught layback start. eases off through the middle, into a short steep section and finish with a chimney. whats not the like. plenty of protection all the way. single rack to BD #5 (large cam # 5/6 to protect the final portion)

I wanna get better at crack. This was as hard as exhibition wall for me.
