Ascents of Not In Work Hours

Beautiful sandstone - really gets your heartrate up for that last block. V1 for the length and height, but not the difficulty of any particular move. Very easy top out. Climbed free at 5pm on a weekday - no trouble with security or police

Fun climb. Did it broad day light, maybe not a good idea, had the security guards check us out.

Great little onsight after uni, funky climb on suprisingly good rock! Bit spicy without a pad, chalk and misfitting shoes! The way down is as good as the way up!

Kind of did this on a whim whilst walking home along the goods line. Mega classic. More buildering than anything. A butt puckering highball. Young enough and dumb enough to have climbed it with no crash pads. Just chalk and shoes. Down climbing it was harder mentally than going up. You want something to kill your ego and make you humble. This is it.

Repeat. Was with some others and there are now about 3 new routes going up this. V4 ish with most of the difficulty in the first 2 blocks

More of a V1 but still really cool to climb. Done without a rap rope. down climb is the hardest part, but still under V2

On sighted it for the FA. After sussing it and figuring out the sequence I jumped on and claimed FA. With a little smearing and jamming of fists and arms I managed to tick The Totem. Ensure you've got your rope in place to safely descend after you climb. Excellent problem with well placed and solid holds and completely choss free. Got the old heart pumping a bit and come the third block I remember thinking "I wish I had some gear to place right about now".
