Ascents in Toohey Forest by Sam Lowe

Easy tick without sit start. Got very close today. Worked the start up to jugs before lip over many many attempts. Was too gassed on my final attempt where the send was insight.

Lean right off the start and LH to small chalky pocket. Adjust RF out wide and LF low to throw for bucket. Rest is history from here next time.

Probably started too high but beta said standing start and I'm tall. Two decent chalky holds lower I found difficult to move off for the start. Small sidepull and decent hold near crack to start with pocket for R-toe. Bump left foot for left pinch. DIY adventure for the rest to jugs at lip. Topout is crappy. Got scared and used a foot on the tree to not die.

Warmup for a solo after work boulder sesh. Origionally noted as a sketchy topout. Worse without a spotter .

Not an end of the day climb.

Little scary.

Nice little route. Was adding and extra drop down move from the start of Chockstone Traverse just for added fun haha. Hopefully get the send next time.

Enjoyable compression type start and dynamic move to the top.

Fun problem.
