Ascents in Rumney by Horizen

No better way to experience bolted multipitchs, powermoves and real exposure in a single route!

One of the best routes in Rumney. Very varied, you change technique almost at every bolt.

Easy for the grade. If you can figure how to get on the overhang and link the moves, it feels more like 5.10b...

Seriously fun climb. Very varied, using many techniques and going right and left on impressive but easy moves.

Loose rock! This route won't be there forever.

Very nice climb! Unfortunately , poorly protected; the crux (for me anyway) is protected by on very hold and rusty small bolt, and the fall anywhere before the next (far!) bolt would not be clean at all. Anyway, superb and diverse climb. Be careful; the face climb at the end can be VERY tricky if wet. It was only a little wet when I did it, and all the hold on the face were transformed into puddles. The last move was also very hard to figure in the water...

Easier than it look like. Watch out for the tricky start close to the ground, and for the many loose rocks on the climb.

Spectacular moves, but well protected. Demanding, but gratifying! The start is very muscular, but the holds are far better than you would think from the bottom, and the rest is a varied mixed of... everything!

Superb route. Really liked it; varied, good holds, just enough overhang to work hard, finishing on a nice technical climb. The second pitch is also worth it!

Hard boulder start, but fun route! Easily wet...
